View Full Version : ABC seeks Bronco fans
Wife Swap
05-01-2006, 06:22 PM
Hi, my name is Jodi and I am a casting producer for ABC's hit show Wife Swap. I am currently looking for families that love and are addicted to football. As a born and raised Coloradoan, I am biased I would love to have a Denver Bronco family on, and show some nationwide love for the Big Orange.
In case you are unfamiliar with the show, the premise of Wife Swap is to take two different families and have the mom's switch place to experience how another family lives for six days. Half of the week, mom lives the life of the family she is staying with. The other half, she introduces a "rule change" where she implements rules and activities that her family has. It's a positive experience for people to not only learn, but teach about other families and other ways of life.
Families featured on the show will receive $20,000. If you refer a family that is selected to be on our show, we pay you $1,000 per referral. Each family should consist of two parents, at least one child between the ages of 5-17, and should reside in the continental U.S.
If you or someone you know are interested in applying, email me at jodi.friedman@rdfusa.com. Tell me a bit about yourself and a number where you can be reached. Please note the best families are outgoing with good energy.

If a bronco family member went to a raider house, that person would get robbed and beaten. if that person went to a cheif house, he/she would be eating squirril and come back home with a Mullet. Should be interesting.;)

There ya go! Only with newborn trips...I'm guessing Mrs. Spider wouldn't want to leave the house...esp. if Mr. Spider was on the road.

Thanks but all my kids are goats and I don't have a wife to swap. Don't think that makes the cut.
We definetly have the right Bronco parents around here somewhere.

Um, hell no. ;D Funny thing, our family watches the show regularly. It's a crack up, but I can't imagine letting some other woman in my house to take it over with my kids. Also, I don't want to get up there and have people say, "Wow, that lady is a crazy bitch!" , which is what I do regularly. I like to keep my dirty laundry non televised. ;)
Love the show, but not interested! Scared to death is more like it. :D Especially after the one I saw tonight! Yikes!

How about a nice, classy Broncos family maybe in Cherry Creek area than have a Chokeland Faider family right in the crumb of Jokeland with an unemployed Dad, drunk Mom and juvenile deliquent kids (well that is already known when i said they were raider fans). Oh the horror of walking into that family. Good story line though. If she did that I must say to the Broncos family that is choosen, Enjoy Pabst Blue Ribben and 40oz of Olde E.

Yeah we have 3 boys - our house bleeeeeeeds orange, the problem is it happens to be located in Las Vegas b/c my wife likes the shopping here and I get to travel to 4 away games as well as catching 2-3 home games every year.
The wife coming to our house would just get HOT with the time I spend in here and they'd cut out everything I had to say b/c I'd be slapping members of the OM the whole time.
Now get in the kitchen and bake me a pie - lol!

I know somebody who would love to tell you all about his cats. Would that count? Might have to change the show to "Pussy Swap" though.
This would be so easy to do. Pick a major college football rivalry (say, Ohio St.-Michigan or Texas-Oklahoma) and swap the wife of a diehard family of one team with the with the wife of a diehard family of the other team but the week you pick is the week right before the big game. That would be better than using pro teams.
Either that or swap with a family that deplores violence and refuses to allow the rest of the household to watch the big game.

OK, this is off topic - but for this thread, I am not sure anything is off topic...
Little Susie and her family move to San Diego from Denver. First day of school, and the new teacher is trying to bond with the class, so she says "So I'm a big Charger fan. How many of you here are SD Charger fans?".
Well everyone in class obediently raise their hands, except Susie. So the teacher asks "well Susie, why aren't you a Charger fan?!"
Susie answers "Well my dad is a Bronco fan, my mom is a Bronco fan, and I'm a big Bronco fan!"
The teacher is getting a bit miffed, so she asks "Well, you don't have to just be like your parents! I mean, what if your dad was a criminal and your mom was a whore - what would that make you?!"
Susie pauses and ponders, and then replies "Well... I guess that would make me a Raider fan!"
