Nash pushed his man to the ground just to get the inbounds pass, but no foul was called. The refs weren't calling any fouls at that point of the game.

The best thing about this...the Mavericks get to beat up on the Clippers while San Antonio beats up on LA in round two.

What are you talking about? The NBA isn't like the NFL, where there aren't any brackets. In the NBA there are brackets. If the Lakers and Clippers both win, which it looks like it will happen, it will be an all LA series, and an all Texas series.

The NBA is a ****ing script.

Nice non call as the Laker player grabbed dudes jersey at the end of regulation and kept him from breaking to the basket full speed. Dude is rocked back and his jersey is stretched out but no call.

The Nash is hacked like a mother at the end of OT and the refs call a jump ball.

Hilarious!

For the record I am pulling for the Lakers cause I want the Clips to take them down next series but that was an absolute joke.

The NBA has no credibility.

I'm waiting for an NBA player to do what the Steeler LB did after the Indy game and just openly question the refs bias.

Sorry Phoenix, you just aren't in the NBA's plans.

But both of Kobe's shots were money. He just should not have had the 2nd opportunity.

Like the above poster said........the refs could have called a foul on Nash When he CLEARLY pushed his man to the ground on that play.
And Who fouled Nash?
lol.........he lost his balance and cries foul

Not at all.

Happy Clips fan.

Read a little more closely before making a fool out of yourself next time sparky.

I want the Fakers to win because I want our shot at them next series.

Although after today I wonder if the NBA will even allow them to take the floor vs. the annointed ones.

Apology accepted.

I hate the Lakers but i do like Kobe. And i think after the rumors of Nash getting the MVP in a landslide Kobe is out to prove a point. I really cant see how Kobe doesnt get it though because he is working with a lot of scrubs on that team.

Talk about BS. That one play means it was scripted? How about all the other plays leading up to that moment. At the end of the game Smush hits a 3 to bring them within two points. Take that tough shot away and there goes the script. But wait, there are only 7 seconds to go, and the Suns are taking the ball out. Nash gets the ball stolen by Smush. Was Nash going by the script? Then Kobe had to go make a tough shot. Does the NBA have a remote control on the ball to make it go in the basket?

In OT, again, Smush hits another 3 to bring them within one point. I guess the NBA was guiding that ball in the hoop. I guess you missed Nash push his man to the floor just to get open to get the inbounds pass. If the refs were going by the script, then why didn't they call a foul then and just hand the Lakers the ball? They then have to tie up Nash. How could the NBA have made that happen? Then Kobe has to hit another tough shot to beat the clock. Yeah, again, David Stearn has his remote control and guided that ball right in the basket.

It was a great game, and a great finish. The refs were calling fouls at the end of the game, which happens in just about every NBA game.

Now it's clear. You are a Clipper fan. Tired of being 3rd in basketball in the city of LA. Yeah, I said third. I'd go as far as to say tied for third with USC. Hell, I'm giving you guys too much credit with that. Fairfax and Westchester have more popular basketball programs.

The funny thing about this possible all LA series, which looks like it's going to happen, is that the Laker flags will be flying, and Clipper fans will be crying about respect. The Clippers are on the up swing, and the Lakers are on the down swing, but the Lakers are still the story. The Lakers have this city buzzing. All the talk is about the potenial upset of the Suns. All the talk is about the Lakers.

You must have missed yesterday's Mavs/Grizz game where Dirk tore the throat out of the entire Memphis team by collecting a loose ball, pulling up with two guys draped all over him (including Gasol), and drilling the most cold-blooded shot of the season. Then he took over in overtime. Dirk has been the best player in the playoffs thus far (not to my surprise...he's the MVP).

Good shot by Bryant as well. Smush Parker had an awful lot to do with pulling out that victory too. His three over Nash kept them in the game, and then his steal/assist led to Bryant's layup to tie the game. He also helped on the trap that forced the jump ball.

6 seconds to go in the game.

4th Quarter. You're the best free throw shooting player in the league.
What do you do?
You get the ball, grab it with both hands, cover up, and bend over like you're in jail.

What does Nash do?

Gets the ball, and tries to dribble out of coverage.
MVP move.

Come on, you gotta change your signature picture, one of the few times my boy Beno gets off the bench, you have Dirk going by him. Well, Beno had a solid game three against the Kings. Hilarious!

There were too many plays at the end of the game that just happened for this to be called "scripted". You can't script the shots that were made. Unless the NBA has a remote control on that ball.

Nope. It's like the NCAA tournament, where there is a bracket. If a low seed beats a high seed, that team doesn't have to play the highest seed in the next round like in the NFL. That low seed stays in that bracket.

For example, if an 8 seed beats the 1 seed, they don't have to play the 2 seed in the next round, like the NFL does. They would play the winner of the 4/5 matchup.

But the NBA seedings are screwed up because the 1/4 teams will be playing each other, while the 6/7 teams will be playing each other. Dallas, the four seed, is the 2nd best team in the West, while the Clippers, the 6th seed, host the 3rd seed Nuggets. If the seedings were done right the Nuggets would be the 8th seed.

Jason, who cares about who the Lakers pay in the next round. I want to know when the Laker flags start to show up around here in SoCal? Do they wait until 2nd round or are they being brought out immediately? I would love a Laker vs Clippers showdown to see who goes to the conference finals. This area would go nuts. Clippers are still the step child of LA/OC. Ugly one at that.
