Watched a lot of Oregon football this year and thought he was under-utilized (hence why he didn't get drafted?)

He was rated in some mocks as 3rd or 4th material. While we should realize by now mocks don't mean crap to anyone, I think he would be good insurance if the 2nd rounder doesn't pan out -or- Alexander does his usual injury routine.

IN Shannys just posted second day press conference he said they would ahve taken Maroney at 15 if Cutler had been gone.

Maroney is who I pegged for our 1st roudner too and NE scored with him as well.

Nice to hear we would have gotten a winner with our 1st in any event, but other than Maroney, Shanny said he never planned to take a RB with this draft.

I'd like to see us give Greg Threat a shot. I'm not trying to be a homer, but I think he could be a decent SS in the league. Its very mysterious why he got very little playing time this year despite being one of the best defenders on the team in 2004, leading the Canes in tackles. He can improve in his pass defense though, but he is a very smart kid. He is certainly worthy of an UDFA contract.

Steve Fifita is a good choice.
I agree, he is a solid tackler and is very good at filling space. He isn't very good at getting off blocks, but it looked like he got better as the season went on last year.

I am hoping they go after Utah's John Madsen. This guy is going to be a good pro. He is a big guy who is deceptivly fast. ESPN says he doesn't have top end speed, and they are correct, but I saw several times where he beat the corner guarding him and outran him down the sideline. He has a huge stride, which causes him to look a little slower, but he still covers a lot of ground.

Damn Kaylore, I didn't think I'd hear something like that out of a BYU fan.

Get my boy in DV Shanny. Honestly, I cant think of any player who's stock droped faster, just because of his height. I understand that height is important on the D-Line, but this guy is stronger the Q. Ganther and we all know what he put up at the combine.

At the end of the season he was rated the 5th best DT in college. Next thing I know I can't find a thing about him. He plays with heart and has a motor that doesn't stop. Was double and triple teamed all year long, pretty hard to get off those blocks on the inside when your facing three guys.

Nebraska OT Seppo Evwaraye emerged as someting of a sleeper at the position when the 320-pounder former Cornhusker ran a very impressive 5.05 40-yard sprint.

BIO: Former defensive lineman who started the past two years at offensive tackle.

POSITIVES: King-sized developmental prospect with upside for the next level. Patient, keeps his feet moving throughout the action and pushes rushers from their angle of attack. Strong, controls opponents once engaged in a block and holds his ground. Solid position blocker who walls defenders from the action.

NEGATIVES: Lacks adjustment, not light on his feet and lumbers about the field. Struggles with his footwork and displays limited blocking range.

ANALYSIS: A great worker who does what the coaches ask, Evwaraye is a developmental prospect at the right tackle position. Must improve his fundamentals but at the very least a practice squad player.

PROJECTION: Undrafted Free Agent

He would be a good NFLE player :)
