Okay, Day one is over. What do we do with Ashley?
Keep him? Trade him for a 2nd day pick? Trade him for a Defensive line prospect?
Anyone up for Lelie to San Fran for Eric Johnson and a 2nd day choice?

He is in a contract year he will be in shape and motivated I say keep him and Denver will have the best 4 set WRs in the league.

With the Drafting of Marshall I guess Lelie might not be with Thye Broncos this year.
I'd inquire about sending him to NE for Daniel Graham. Both should be in their contract years, the Pats have made it clear Watson is their favorite, and have drafted two TEs, Daniels and Mills, in rounds 3 and 4. Mills might play an H-back type of role, but they still won't need Graham.
At WR they did just get Jackson and already have Branch, but Brown is real old and they've typically prefered having three quality WRs. Adding Lelie gives them a solid option for '06 while Jackson gets up to speed.
Conversely, we need a TE who can play every down. Graham can do that, though he's been less impressive as a reciever than expected. He's an ideal transition guy for a year while Scheffler and Duke are groomed. We can then cut Alexander, who's a damn scrub. If necessary we could always resign Graham long term as well, should Duke or Scheffler not progress as we expected.
Having just picked up Brandon Marshall, I think something to this effect, a player for player trade, will happen soon. That, or he'll be moved for a conditional '07 pick.
