I have a flag football game on Saturday at 12:15, gotta be there about a half our early at the least to warmup and walkthrough. I'm one of the best players on the team, but there are alot of guys that could take my spot and do alright. We are riding a 2 game winning "streak", but I'm gonna miss our pick, possible trade up for a QB, or a trade down, all sorts of craziness could happen.

If I miss the game I am gonna hear all kinds of crap about it from my boys, but it's the draft!!!

I'm asking not what should I do, but what would you do.

Id tape the draft. Hell why miss the game just to get pissed off when Shanny & Co take a often injured big upside guy at 15 ;D

Tape it or have someone you know won't mess with your head text you the results to view during timeouts.

Be a good teamate and play. The draft rocks, but you can always hear plenty about it later....

Tough choice! :)

If you play fairly often and others could fill in for you I'd watch the draft. It only happens once a year!

If the game is important, you could record it and then race home to watch without listening to any media outlets.

If it were me, I'd be watching the draft.

I'll take care of it for you. Who's the most injured player on the value board rated as a third round pick?

That will be the Bronco's pick at 15.

Now, go play ball. ;D

Draft is really kind of boring to watch in my opinion, I watch usually to Denvers first pick then usually go golfing. There is plenty of time to review the picks later as training camp is a ways away.

Dude, go get the physical exercise and play. Watching the draft and the experts is so freakin' BORING. We have pretty much rehashed every scenario these guys are going to talk about. Come back for the end of the first round and maybe watch a ton of deals get done. It is no tlike there is some kind of game going on where you need to see it in real time and get the "experts analysis" ;D

Thanks for all the comments. It's a tough call, but I think I will play the game and get updates via text messages. If we move up and select Leinart I will go crazy, don't let me hear that in the middle of the game!!!

I'm using this space to post my Mock draft from ESPN I did. Cool contest, but I think trades will fk it all up, especially with Bmore moving down.

There is no "I" in team, but there is a "me". Watch the draft...

The draft is ok, but I wouldn't want to miss the reaction of this board...that is priceless :D

Take one for the team. The beginning of the draft always goes slow. Don't be surprised you make it back before 37. Skip the postgame shower. You could bring a radio as well.

There are two things about watching the draft...well, 3. The anticipation and learning out the home teams picks, but I like Big Hair going thru the highlight reels. It's actually anticlimactic. We will be in the war...err...chat room screaming in pain most likely anyway.

If your honestly thinking of ditching the draft for some stupid flag football game, youve got really big problems.

I don't know how you can sit inside and do nothing for hours and try and predict how draft picks will turn out.

So I see us get Cutler, i am disapointed, but whatever, go to the game, get shut out with no catches, even though I was open deep burning this team all day, my QB was way off target on bombs to me. I guess he was more hung over then the rest of us! On defense I shut down my side of the field for the most part, gave up one 10 yard catch in man coverage, batted away a TD pass, a 4th down pass. So it worked out. Come home and we fkn swap the 37 for Walker and that giant chip on his shoulder. He better come in here with a Broncos attitude and perform.

I think we would have taken Jackson with the 37, but he was stolen by the Pats right from under us.
