15th Overall:
Option 1: Bunkley if he falls... Very unlikely, but if the man falls he should be the sure pick.
Option 2: Trade back and pick one of the 3 backs. I personally think they'd aim for Maroney.
Option 3: If they stay at 15 and the likely happens with Bunkley off the board grab Manny Lawson for the pass rushing end.
I don't like a WR at 15. Jackson and Holmes wouldn't usually be the top WR in most drafts. This is a pretty poor WR class and I hope we go with one later in the draft or Walker if GB settles for a 2nd.
37th Overall:
Option 1: Mercedes Lewis
Option 2: Tamba Hali especially if they don't go Lawson in the first.
One of these two should be available. Lewis is a first round talent, but TE's always slip outside the VD types. Hali has slipped into the second round, but he is at a need spot on our team.
61st Overall:
Option 1: Maurice Stovall probably isn't going to fall this far in the second, but if you still need a WR then he would be a really strong pick this late in the 2nd. Could even possibly package a 2nd day pick to move up a little bit to get him if needed. I don't see him being that much of a fall off from the first round WR's.
Option 2: Joe Klopfentstein - if we still need a TE he should be available around here and could take over where Jed took off. Of course that's not saying a whole lot.
Option 3: Claude Wroten - If all else fails go DT! Wroten is a nice looking prospect at DT and I think he will out perform most of the DT's in this draft.
Our draft with no trades could look like - Lawson, Lewis, Wroten right now. I wouldn't be too upset sitting at home right now.
68th overall:
Option 1: Derek Hagen - Okay I guess it's about time to address WR if the Walker trade falls through and they don't get Stovall. Hagen is a nice target that was rated much higher going into his final season. I think he could be a productive WR in the NFL.
Option 2: Brodie Croyle - If the Jets haven't snatched him he could come in and fight for that #2 spot. Not really a sexy pick, but with our back up situation could be a smart pick.
So basically with out trades and any major slips we could look at -
15 - Manny Lawson, DE
37 - Mercedes Lewis, TE
61 - Claude Wroten, DT
68 - Derek Hagen, WR
