I'm about done with Full Tilt

Last night I was in a sit n go 50 dollar tourney 6 max...I was the chip leader and the cards were coming...All of a sudden the program stops responding and the full tilt program shutsdown...I tried quite a few times to start it back up and it wouldnt connect...So I sent them an email asking what happened because their website said the server is fully operational...

I just checked my email and this is how they responded to my email...my email is 1st...

I was playing in a 50 dollar sit and go and the fulltilt program froze
and it said it was not responding...I closed the program, and tried to
restart and it isnt connecting...I came to fulltilt.net and is said the server
is operational...I was curious to know what happened, and if I'll be
credited back my money and what not...thanks

There was a temporary technical glitch that affected exclusively the
California area earlier this evening that wasn't us as our server never
went down.

Unfortunately, as this was not caused by our server, there will be no
credit backs regarding the issue. In our effort to bring you the
fairest games, we have chosen not to provide disconnection protection.

Disconnect protection is a feature which is often abused in online
poker, and has been a main area of complaint for many. When a player
disconnects at a table with disconnect protection, he is no longer
required to call any further bets, and gets to see a show-down without
investing any more chips. Players can abuse this simply by ?pulling the
plug? on their computer to get a free showdown.

While the majority of our players are honest and would not do this, many
try to profit from this unfair advantage. Full Tilt Poker puts forth
considerable effort to make sure that when you sit at a poker game on
our site, you sit at a game that is free of collusion, cheating, and any
type of unfair advantage.

So now I'm out 50 bucks unless I ended up winning the tournament which I doubt...I havent been home to check my account to see if I won anything, and If I havent then forsure I'm done playing online at Full Tilt Poker...This is the 2nd or 3rd time something like this has happened...its complete BS...

A friend of mine had something similar happen on Party Poker, they credited his account and gave him credit for taking 2nd in the sit and go

Well my opinion is that's what you get for playing online poker for money, too many variables in my opinion, I tried it once and said never again after I had 4 of a kind and connection broke and I had put in a lot of money and connection when down just before river and lost it all. Plus you never know what kind of scam can be going on over messenger or the phone.

if u were chip leader , u might have placed at least. I played once and went home average chip stack. Came back to find out the 4 others went out before i blinded out and took 2nd. I see there point though but if they could see u sat out more than one hand then they should reexamine case by case.

That's something that only takes place once in awhile though. We're talking about computers here and of course ****'s gonna happen. It's happened to me a couple of times but thank got I was playing small s&go's. I'm getting ready to play a almost 600 person tourny where 1st place gets 2500.00. Buy in is 15.00+1.50. Last time I did this I ended up in 35th place and got 60.00. I will win 2500.00 this time! Wish me luck mates...

Thanx Crush. Well I didn't end up in the money this time. I placed something like 217 out of 640 or so. I'll get'em next time which will probably be shortly :)
