Cue Angryllama's denunciation of the Wall Street Journal and NBC News as "radical left-wing sources" pushing "Marxist propaganda."

This portion of the poll is the most interesting to me and signifies that little change in the makeup of Congress will be forthcoming:

Tired of Republicans and Democrats fighting 44%
Nothing gets done on issues important to you 36%
Too many congressmen are corrupt and unethical 34%
Congress simply goes along with President Bush 22%
You disagree with specific legislation 12%
Other 2%

People are generally satisfied with what THEIR representative in Washington is doing. In order for there to be widespread change in the Capitol, people need to be ready to vote "their bum" out. This poll doesn't suggest that will happen...

It may be true that more people WANT a Democrat Congress. However, if they aren't willing to vote THEIR representative out, the status quo will reign supreme and the Democrats will have to wait to grab the White House in 2008...

Pity the Democratic Party is listening to you and your ilk, LABF. If you and your ideological brethren keep making the strident, petulant, crude noises you've kept up for years now, and the Dems are a permanent minority.

You whacky lefty extremists are as unelectable and distasteful as the whacky righty extremists.
