View Full Version : The Broncos Pick Me
Clark

In a move that will have pundits puking, not to mention Bronco Country, Mike Shanahan will pick me with the 15th pick of the draft. But to be fair to Mike, I'm in good shape for being 58 years old; though I must admit, I'm not sure where he'll play me at 5'8" and 167 lbs. My only concern is my arthritis, which hinders my flexibility, but I do have speed, running the mile in high school at 4:50. And it could be faster today since I've quit drinking and drugs. Anybody what to be in my posse?

I just had an epihany this year at 39..(seriously)
I realized that I will never be drafted by the Denver Broncos.
It actually came as something of a shock to finally come to grips with that fact. Pretty depressing actually...
I am still holding out for my dream of an Olympic medal....but I am down to just curling as the only winter sport that I think I still stand a chance in.
My dream of medaling in the downhill (second biggest sports fantasy as a kid) came to an end as well.

The same thing happened to me at age 16. Mind you, it had nothing to do with being drafted by the Broncos. No, 'twas at that tender age that i realized there was no way I could sleep with every woman in the world. Needless to say, I've still not recovered.

Very elusive, killer instincts and great change of direction. Only a junior. 3.5 40. Comes in as a lean 12 pounds.
Likely to take naps at times. Best utilized in night games.

I tackled the Fullback for the Steelers, Dan Krieder in a highschool game 5 times. I could probably still play safety I'm only 28. But please don't burn the 15th on me I could probably be had much later.

I'll be the guy that keeps your illicit drugs in my backpack...ready to take the fall whenever you get busted. A must have for every posse.

I think I still have a chance. 5-7 175 of round unathletic akwardness. I, however, dominate in Madden 2006. Its got to be pretty close to the real thing right?

At 6'2" 255, the only position I could play is FB and LB. Since I couldn't carry KJ's or Al's jock.... I will stick with the mane.
Although my motocross future has been looking up recently.
I'm 5'11.......140...........what can I play?

pee wee ???
I think you might qualify for the guy that ravels and unravels the cord for the coaches headset. That position is determinate upon your ability to actually carry the 20lb cord though.
:~ohyah!:
Good thing I didnt put down i really way........ 130 .
But Hey, as long as I don't have to tackle (ala Walls) I can play corner.
