I have FINALLY signed up for ESPN Mag and the Insider that comes with it.

I have 30 days to change my mind before they bill me.

What are your guys' impression of this over the long haul. Is it worth it? I dont know if i will really read this magazine. But the idea of real time scoring intrigues me as well as being able to click on those links with the orange "insider boxes" next to them.. Since i have been conditioned to automatically ignore those links over the past 5 years, it's gonna be a bit rough at first.

I spent a little while just clicking all the insider links i could find on the nfl page. Feels great. Found out that Champ is the number 1 rated CB in the nfl. Wow, imagine that! And D.J. Williams' will be a "special" player once he learns to go through RB's trying to block him. Alright!

Not sure but if you're are a sports junky and money isn't an issue then go for it. I signed up for the Pro football weekly and it came with the draft circle thingy. Also I get Baseball America

Insider is bull****. All they do is basically copy and paste off of sports-headline sites...like KFFL. It's a very common format. The only articles worth the price are written by Joyner, Stark, Clayton, and just a few others.

The Mag's ok...I guess.

Yeah, you know i used to think it was okay for me to try and leech off the insiders. Now that i'm an Insider, i feel a little bit like you can BURN IN HELL IF YOU THINK I'M HELPING AN OUTSIDER! PAY UP LIKE THE REST OF US!

Kidding, only kidding.

I still cannot find the option to cancel, even if they bill me, it's not a big deal. There is some useful stuff on it!

How do I cancel this trial, I mean I haven't even received an e-mail? What's up?

Its ok, the mag is current for maybe the first week you have it, not so great for a monthly mag but then, its sports ya know, ever changing landscape.

Insider is pretty titts though. Scouting from Scouts Inc. is a nice plus, some expanded baseball stats, and then there's the fact that you can now use a non-neutered ESPN.com (i.e. one where you can read the good articles). Setting up a custom sidebar with your teams is a nice way to keep up with a little less scouring.

I don't pay for my sub, I sponge of my bro, but I'd pony up if he didn't, its the only way to get Gammons, the draft coverage, etc., you can find 90% of the news they give you elsewhere, but its worth the convenience to have one source, even if it is ESPN. ;P

If I didn't play lots of fantasy sports on ESPN I wouldn't have it. It has some good fantasy stuff on there. I just renewed mine yesterday.
