Sounds like Rogers is really turning some heads over in Europe. Bring him in for camp and see if he can earn that #4 CB spot.

At 180 pounds he won't be playing safety any time soon.

Is that his recent weight, or his combine weight??

Its been a year, and he was told he was being converted, so im almost positive they would have him on some kind of weight gaining/strength training program.

Not Rogers, he highlighted Browner ;D Browner and Brandon will provide some interesting Big nickle combination sets versus Elite TE teams again. Situational substitutions around the Goalline too ;)

So Med, You are the Mane expert on the DBs. What do you think of Browner?

He actually weighed 172 at the combine so I bumped him up to 180 assuming he had put on some weight.

I thought you were talking about Rogers sorry.

Browner weighs in at 221. He is a safety project.

Oops.

Brandon IMO is the future at SS. He did a good job against Gates and Gonzo and is solid against the run.

Nah, I just get to see them in camp, I am no expert ;D From what I saw and heard Browner was really moving up fast in camp last year. He was taking some snaps in the starting nickle on some red zone drills at FS. He did NOT get to go to any pre-camp practices mini-camps due to being on the NCAA quarter system and was a little behind on the playbook too. Seriously think he is going to get a shot with Brandon and Cox to be the back up safeties and role players in the nickle.

He is a good tackler as well and could possibly line up in the slot on TE's and #3 WR's. I look forward to seeing him in camp in a few months.

I think Browner has a lot of potential and would have been a day one pick last year except he had a poor 40 time, and for a CB that is deadly especially in a draft. He was the tallest CB last year but unlike Walls he actually has some meat to him. He also has some freaking long arms at 32 3/4". He's good at jamming at the LOS but he needs to improve his hip movement.

Switch him to safety and see if he can catch on. If not all well he was a FA anyway.

Yep, and Browner may be the future at FS. A lot of people think Denver needs a Center fielder in the draft, but they may have two already and primed to play.
