Does anyone have any info on the Broncs drafting Brian Calhoun out of Wisconsin. I didnt see enough of his college career, even at CU, but he seems like he has the height speed combo that we could use and he should be a lower round dp. Also was wondering about peoples opinions of Hagan, I heard Mel Kiper say he was the most overrated reciever in the draft. Third, where is Jeremy Bloom going to go in the draft, just looking for opinions thanks

Calhoun should fit into the Broncos system, but he had a bad workout (too slow), and since then I haven't seen his name mentioned once.

I would be shocked if you hear Bloom's name being called on the first day. I think he's fallen off the radar screen and could become an UDFA. That's just my gut feeling...

Calhoun is a late first day pick. Bloom may be a fourth rounder as he shows potential to be a third or fourth WR as well as a KR/PR. Hagan is going to be a Boom or bust guy and should drop to at least late second round if someone is desperate.

he ran slow at the combine, but at his proday in wisconsin he blazed to 40 like he was orginally expected to and therefore kept himself in the first day mix...should go rd. 2 or3
you are definitley right about his name not being mentioned though...wonder what the deal is there

The QB I want in fifth round or later is this guy:
Erik Meyer
Height: 6-1 | Weight: 210 | 40-Time: 4.69
Official Bio
Strengths:
A very accurate passer...Has a tremendous arm...Smart player who is always in control of the offense...Makes very few mistakes...Can move a little and avoid pressure...Is a good natural athlete...Sees the field and can read a defense well...A gamer who has that extra something that is hard to define...Tremendous player at his level of competition and was extremely productive...Top intangibles.
Weaknesses:
Has not played against the type of elite athletes and talent he will see at the next level so the jump will be a major culture shock for him...Will try to do too much and take too many chances...Doesn't have great size...Speed is only average although he plays faster with the pads on...Mechanics need refining.
Notes:
Also an excellent baseball player who was drafted by both the Cincinnati Reds and San Francisco Giants...One of the top sleeper prospects in the draft and a guy who at the very least should be brought in as a developmental signal caller.
