We may have to take one of these talents on the first day if we go by the best player available thinking. Best class in 25 years and we draft 3 corners last year. At least they appear to be good ones. ;)

Well Champs pushin towards 30 and DW is gettin' into weed so it's time to load up on CB's again I guess...LOL
Cromartie in the 2nd round would be OK though I prefer a TE...but only because he has the size to play free safety. Otherwise, 4th round guys...I like Foxworth's old teamate Garrick McPhearson...5'9 1/2" 193, has run a 4.28 40 and is very muscular...big hitter with quick reactions...main knock is technique and instinct, stuff that's basically teachable. He may be around in the 3rd or 4th and would fit here pretty well.

Id take a late round flyer on another is alll. We have talent there and taking a CB in the first round would be wrong imo.

When healthy, we've got a top notch pair of CBs out there. It's a shame we can't give them any pass rush up front.
The NFL just isn't like it used to be where you could stick a CB on a WR and you'd be fine. Receivers are bigger, stronger, faster... and offenses are more complex. Rules have changed. Refs will flag a CB if he farts in the direction of a receiver.
It's not a coincidence that the two Superbowl teams were the best pass-rushing teams in the league. (2 of 3, actually) You have to generate pressure on opposing offenses, these days.
We can draft all of the CBs we want. It's just not going to matter when you're getting pushed around up front. How many more years do I have to continue to say this ****?
