From today's Denver Post:
Linebacker signed
The Broncos signed linebacker Ray Wells to a three-year deal.
Wells, a University of Arizona product, was out of the NFL last year after being cut by San Francisco. He played 16 games as an undrafted rookie with the Tennessee Titans in 2003 and appeared in six games for the 49ers in 2004.
The Broncos could draft a linebacker in the late to mid-rounds. Linebacker Nate Webster had agreed to terms with Denver in March, but recently decided not to play this season.
