Unbelievable.

Talked about how dominant he is. Referred to himself as the Michael Jordan of football (and bitching because he has no Scottie Pippen). Whining about how he longs for the days when he had two guys in front of him that kept him from getting touched. Pissed and moaned about how he sees other LB's running free and how he has to go through things out there that he shouldn't have to go through.

For a guy who trys to portray himself as such a badass, he's got a lot of sand in his crack over opposing offenses putting a blocker on him.

not just about that. But about the team (mainly the O) that has had to consistently deal with. He wants to win, and he knows that the days of no O and all D are over. You have to have an O that puts up some points, and B mores flatly just sucked!

Sounds like another 'OJ' case.

I remember him crying like a six year old girl with a skinned knee on the sidelines of a MNF game against the Chefs a couple of years ago. Nice of him to get miked up just so he could show the entire football watching world what a ****ing whiner he is. That interview seemed like just an extension of that pity party he threw for himself back then.

Poor Ray Ray, he just wants to smash RB's and crush QB's, all while never getting touched. Is that too much to ask? ::)

I've hated that sonofabitch more than any player in the League for years.

You know damn well he wasn't penalized on this play.

Tagliabue's legacy will be letting scumbagss like this one run his League and being too greedy and spineless to deal with them.

Ray Ray; easily the most over rated LB to ever play the game, IMHO.

That'll be his teammates fault for not keeping blockers off of him, of course.

Damn that is a death move in martial arts that old Ray has on that guy. A quick twist and he's dead.

The NFL won't let him bring his shank or his posse on to the field with him. He has to improvise.

I won't deny he was a great player in his prime, but I predicted his departure from Baltimore would be exceedingly ugly. Lockerroom Godzillas like Ray Ray and Warren Sapp don't realize that they'll be seeing everybody they shat upon on the way up, when they're on the way down.

It's these tirades that reveal what kind of a person they are. Let's thump our chest, call out our team, and talk about how bad-ass we are.

Compare him to another player who is the best at his position, and probably will make the HOF:

You never hear him talk about how awesome he is or how he's going to "PWN" some team, or how if he only had players that were awesome in front of him, he'd be great.

Yes, Ray Lewis is arrogant and as his abilities fade with age, that arrogance will only get worse as desperate need for approval starts to rear it's ugly head.

Makes you appreciate what you've got, huh?

Al Wilson might not be a superstar at this point, but he doesn't pander and beg for attention like a dog. I hate everything about the Ratbirds worse than...yes...Oakland, which is nipping at their heels, but everything about the Ratbirds smells bad from A to Z. The team left in the night, their coach lied to the vikings twice, the broncos at least once on draft day, causing us to take Foster too early, their star running back is a convicted drug dealer and their MLB is a whiny pussy if he doesn't have his posse to stick the good news at 2 AM. And I don't even follow that gang of thugs. Finally setting them down when the NFL FINALLY gave us a home game against them was as gratifying as any game for years. I despise that team. Hate em.

I'm in a very hostile mood tonight. Watching that prick whine just put me over the top. Ohhhhh....I have to handle blocks! I need to be protected! So does every other linebacker, especially Gold. Do you hear him whining?

Yep, before it is all said and done Ray Lewis will end up a Raider just like Warren.

Lewis at one time in his career 'was' the one player in the league who could take over and dictate a game, amazing.

Funny stuff. I always thought that great players make there teamates better. I guess in he case of Ray-Ray the great his teamates make him better.

Someone said on this board that Ray Lewis was the best MLB ever.

I disagreed saying that two good years does not make you the best ever.

They called me an idiot.

Now, after two straight years of mediocre play or injury, this guy is clearly on the downside. He had two fantastic years with Baltimore, and some good years, but no way no how should this guy be in the same sentence with Singletary or Taylor or Nietche(sp?) or even Gradishar.

Hell, I'll throw Al Wilson on the block just because Al has been far more consistent in his career than Ray Ray.

Remember Dave Kragen fighting off monsters playing DT at 260 pounds? Did he whine? Did Randy Gradishar whine he had a smallish NT in front of him in a 3/4?

That interview was so horrifically pathetic if bordered on comedy. The most absurd thing of it all is that should be closed door not in front of the camera. He should of gone to the coach and asked for aome protection....instead, he turned whore and went on ESPN. He gave more info than the murder investigation.

2 years ago Urlacher was on the top 10 most overated players list.
Bears draft Tommie Harris, 1 year later = Urlacher MVP.

2 years ago Ray Lewis roamed free and was considered the best, ever. He even mentored Ed Reed into a great safety.

Now his defense is falling apart and he gets double teamed all the time. I remember MNF vs. KC when Will Shields and Tony Richardson leveled Ray Lewis into the turf about 15 yards past the line of scrimmage. But this is what happens when your D-line doesn't hold.

Simple equation.

Defensive Line makes Urlacher MVP
Defensive Line makes Ray Lewis washed up.

Defensive Line = the only thing that matters.

Therefore: Denver would be stupid not to draft defensive line in the first round this year.

:D

Think of Linemen as the cake and skilled position players as the frosting, you can't have frosting without cake but you can have cake without frosting.

Linemen = 80% of football

Dave Kragen?? Ouch. It's Greg Kragen.

The funny thing about Ray Ray's thinking is that is the very thing that keeps most Hall voters for not voting for Randy Gradishar.

In addition to the silly notion of inflated tackle numbers, there was a belief that Joe Collier designed the other 6 members of the Orange Crush front 7 to attack at certain angles or take certain gap responsibilities, etc., to leave Randy Gradishar to roam free of blockers.

That was complete bull**** too.

This notion hurts Randy, but Ray admits it iis what made him great.

I'm actually surprised that some Flavor Clown defender hasn't jumped on this saying Ray Ray is just "showing the passion he has for the game" when he does this stuff and how much they'd perfer to have "passionate" players rather than the humble, workman-like professionals who do the job they're paid to do without all the self-indulgent, self-promotional bullshat....."robots" the sensationalist calls them ::)

I long for the day, this thug goes away. Unfortunately that won't be until after his first round HOF ballot due entirely to the media's hard-on for this jacka-- and his ESPN announcing stint alongside other media darlings Randy Moss and Brett Favre.

TO doing the Ray Ray dance was the funniest **** I ever saw. The only player in the league that has his own music coming out of the tunnel. I think he missed his calling for the WWE!
