Hey guys, with the recent trade I thought I'd do an extra mock. I originally only planned on doing one more, but because of the trade I thought it'd be nice to get creative and see what you guys though. I will be doing my final Broncos mock draft the night before the draft and it could be updated right before Houston is on the clock. Enjoy this one.

I guess first off, some of you may wonder why the hell I have us taking two tackles back to back at #61 and #68, but I felt that the interior of our line seriously needs to be addressed. What happens when Warren and Myers get worn down? Is Veal even on our team? We have nobody there, and even if you don't like who we have at end, it's certainly has way more depth than the interior does. I honestly feel that we can nab those two guys at #61 and #68, or atleast one of them for sure. Who knows though, right? I wasn't feeling confident with the ends there, but I guess if you want -- I was considering Mark Anderson from Alabama at #68 as well.
I know most of you aren't going to like the Chad Jackson pick, but I think that if he's there -- we'll take him. That's just my gut instinct and that pick probably will not change unless I hear something different by draft day. I'm not a huge fan of it either, but that's what I feel we'll do there. I do like Jackson, and I try to leave out my bias towards players when making drafts -- but that's not why he was placed there. I just think we like him enough to pull the trigger on him. Don't think I'm all for a receiver in round one, because I'm not.
I think most of you will enjoy the Marcedes Lewis pick, it was either him or Pope at that position and I feel that Marcedes was the better choice and fit for the Broncos. At worst case scenario, we don't take either him or Pope at #37 and we look at a guy like Fasano, Byrd or Klopfenstein at #61. Solid nonethless.
I like Omar Jacobs a lot, and it was between he and Whitehurst for the QB position in this draft. I've heard no reports on what QB's the Broncos have talked to, but it seems like we have interest in grooming a back-up for Jake. (BVP is not the answer people.)
Anthony Smith from a physical standpoint isn't that great, but he's a smart, instinctive football player who has done very well at Syracuse. He's been a guy I've been placing in Broncos drafts since the get go, even as high as the second round because I believe he's that good. I could rattle on for a while on him, but I feel that safety is still a need and Smith would be a nice guy to fill the void. He's a football player.
Butler is a guy I like too and I think he's a great fit for the Broncos. This could be a trend or a bad observation by me, but I see quite a few teams drafting players who were teammates in college. I don't know if there's a purpose behind it, but it seems to be happening a lot. Butler brings versatility to the line and he also re-unites with Chris Myers. Eventually, maybe both of them will be starting on the line. One thing I like about Miami is they have a solid pedigree of producing good football players. That certainly helped when I made this pick.
I'm not on the Mike Bell bandwagon because of the Denver Post article, I liked what I saw out of him when I got to see Arizona play (not often) and I feel he could be a N/S guy that the Broncos need because Anderson was lost. I was debating either him or Wali Lundy, and a few others.
Some think Will Allen (Guard) will go undrafted, but his experience and intangibles should allow for him to get drafted somewhere. I like what we have on the line, but it never hurts to shore up on players on arguably the most crucial part of our team.
