We all know the Broncos pick players who are "unknowns" prior to the draft. Below is a list of damn good players at "need positions" who have received little or no mention by the press or on the Mane. I am sure 5-6 of them will be Bronco picks :). Tell us what you know about them.

Running Back
Leon Washigton - FSU
Jerome Harrison - Wash St.

Receiver
Devin Aromashodu - Auburn
Travis Wilson - OK
Willie Ried - FSU
Greg Jennings - W. Mich
Corey Rogers - TCU
Demetrius Williams - Oregon

Tight End
Owen Daniels - Wisconsin
Tim Massaquoi - Michigan

O - Line
Fred Muta - USC
Paul McQuistan - Weber St
Chris Chester OK
Quinn Quinnaka - Syracuse
Chris Kuper - N Dakota
Ryan Cook - New Mexico
Jason Spitz - Louisville

D - End
Jason Hatcher - Grambling
Brent hawkins - Illiniois
Julian Jenkens - Stanford

D- Tackle
Titus Adams - Nebraska
Kyle Williams - LSU
Montavious Stanley - Louisville

Safety
Anthony Smith - Syracuse
Calvin Lowrey - Penn St.
Daniel Manning - Abilene Christian
Darvan Landrry - Georgia Tech

Have fun.

Greg Jennings - W. Mich----like him a lot, very productive.

Jerome Harrison - Wash St.---may be a steal for somebody.

Tim Massaquoi - Michigan---always thought he would be better at Michigan. Somewhat inconsistent, but has talent.

Paul McQuistan - Weber St---player on the rise.

Demetrius Williams - Oregon- STUD. He will play the Ash role for us when Ash moves on if we get him. A great deep threat. He made great improvement this season for Oregon and was the finest WR prospect at the Senior Bowl. I was glad to get him in our mock draft.

Safety
Anthony Smith - Syracuse- Similar to Lynch in the respect that he doesnt have the physical side, but he is really smart. Apparently not fluid in pass coverage but still snagged balls due to smarts. This is definitely a consideration with a 4.

Dawan Landry - Georgia Tech- I picked him in the UDFA round of the Mock Draft and considered him for my 5th round pick before settling on Charlie Peprah. I like this kid.

Leon Washington - could be yet another 1k runner in our system. Before was a high grade RB top of first/early second. Not sure why he slipped, but id take him 4th round and later and consider it a steal.

Have fun.I really like montavios Stanley and hope the Broncos draft him or Le Kevin Smith in the 4. Devin Aromashadowould also be a good 4 or 5 round pick if the Bronco trade Lelei for Waker. He had a great combine plus look good at senior bowl.Brent Hawkins is a real stud. He would make a great 3-4 outside linebacker. Was defensive mvp of Hula bowl . He also ran a 4.5 in Workouts with around 22 bench presses. Might be a stongside linebacker backup for Broncos and a good 5 or 6 round draft pick.

I've been pimping Anthony Smith since last year. Not real big but strong and hits like a ton of bricks. More importantly, a leader and he has great instincts and awareness in pass coverage. He's one of those guys who plays better than he tests who will be a starting safety in the NFL for years.

My dark horse is Quinn Sypneiwski (TE) from Colorado. He very well may be moved to tackle. I had a chance to speak to his mentor at he CU spring game and Quinn is very excited to get a shot at the NFL. He knows he may not get drafted, but he will do what ever an NFL team asks of him, including moving to tackle. At 6-7 265 he's a great red zone target and has the fram to put on 30-40 pounds and be a tackle. If it were not for his injury history, we'd be talking about him as a first day pick. He was the #1 ranked TE in the country coming out of HS in Granger IA

I agree that he has a future if he can stay healthy. Probably would require a year on the PS.

Close as I could find.

Why do you like him? What do you know about him? The Mane wants to Know. :)

The guy has a motor that my future '67 mustang would envy. He is good athelete, smart, and technically sound. He is a nasy SOB, durable, and a leader.

Only bad thing is he is somewhat short and has short arms. Played next to Spears and Wroten so he has been hidden. Won't be a star, but good/should be an excellent #2/#3 DT.

And since we have nobody outside of Warren/Myers/Veal we could use some depth.

Draft analyses have Owen Daniels as more of an H-back than a true TE. That's not going to work. I'd rather have Anthony Fasano from Notre Dame or Tim Day from Oregon if we can't get one of the "top tier" TEs.

I live in Michigan and I read this past weekend that Jennings is a cousin of Ian Gold. Whether that is good, bad or indifferent, I don' t know. I also think Massaqui has some promise.
