Can work with either GB or SF.
We send 15 (1st), 22 (1st), 118 (4th), and Lelie, for you chart heads thats 1888 worth of picks.
From GB we get...
5 (1st), 37 (2nd), 67 (3rd).
From SF we get...
6 (1st), 39 (2nd), 68 (3rd).
2350 from SF, 2485 from GB. Differences of 462 and 597 respectively. For SF that makes Lelie roughly the equivalent of the 44th pick, for GB the 31st pick. Obviously we aim to make the deal with GB, from SF I'd demand a bit more, just to squeeze 'em (their 4th round pick, #99, worth 104 by draft charts).
Now some might say that late first/early second value for Lelie is too little compensation for us. I disagree. He's on his final year, teams will be hesitant to pay much for a one year rental. I think we only get that much because of the shallow WR class and our leverage as the only team with two firsts who'll look to move up.
If SF offers the additional 4th I'd then go back to GB pressing for Javon Walker. If not I still keep in touch with the Pack, offering a situational (snap based) '07 pick (3rd to 5th), or maybe our 4th this year and a situational pick that won't get above the 4th round next year.
Anyways, the net effect would be....
1st Round: High pick, at 5 or 6 we can look for Mario Williams or Vernon Davis, one of the two should fall to us. Which one we get of the two will alter our draft from here on out.
2nd Round: We'll now have an early second as well as our own. The early second is for DE or TE (opposite of round 1) unless White has slid to us here, then we grab him, or maybe Addai. We'll be able to get a sliding DE (Hali, Kiwanuka, Wimbley, or Lawson I hope) or TE (Lewis or Pope) otherwise. With our own 2nd we take WR if Stovall is left, otherwise grab one of the high value DTs that will still be left on the board (Wroten, Wright, McCargo, etc..). We could also go DE or TE late in the second if we took an RB with the first second.
3rd Round: We moved back into the 3rd and in a big way, early 3rd. Great time to get that 2nd round talent sliding DT if we go WR with the last second. Otherwise its straight out best player available. Some OL help would make me happy here.
4th Round and on: We'll still have at least two 4ths, maybe a third high one if we can wriggle it out of SF, and can look entirely for talent to build the team on from here on out in the draft, since 4 first day picks have filled our needs.
We'd make a total of 8 or 9 picks (if we can sneak an extra 4th from SF).
