I'd just like to point out that this does NOT make Bronco fans better than Chiefs fans. http://img154.imageshack.us/img154/2028/crossed7kp.gif (http://imageshack.us)

I'd like to point out the Chefs had a half empty stadium throughout the 70's and 80's.

Nope - but just remember KC is one spot lower than Detroit.

Most of our poor rednecks can't afford DirecTV and those that can have no reason to shell out because we watch the hometown teams. ;)

Yeah, I have DirecTV. I guess I'm contributing to the fandom of Houston-area sports fans according to this bogus report. GO TEXANS!

Speaking of DTV, don't you get blacked out if the local channel is available "over the air"or cable, or do they show the game?

Yeah. Also, MLB blackout rules are horrible. In most team markets, the only way to see every game is to live within the broadcast area of that team's local affiliate station.

I live in Houston and if the Rangers are broadcast on KDFI (the Dallas/Forth Worth affiliate), they are blacked on my direcTV on the opposing team's Fox Sports station or cable station.

Even if I shelled out for MLB Extra Innings I wouldn't get to see every Rangers game. If the game was on KDFI, the MLB Extra Innings broadcast would be blacked out.

This horrible practice is true for almost every team in MLB.

When i used the big dish , i gave an address in Colorado and paid for it by credit card. That way they would mail just the receipt and not asking for payment at my cousin's house. Got all the Denver games and never got blacked out. Try it if you even have a friend in KC, but i doubt it.
