I guess I have become a hater because I just hope this movie is a dud. I'm so sick of the TOMKAT and Scientology it has driven me to want him to fail and be a laughingstock. I pray for him to try and make Waterworld look like best picture.

I am hoping it bombs as well, not alot of talent coming out this summer...I am hoping the best for the Superman movie but from what I gather it is going to be a stinker as is X-Men...

no kidding and with ticket prices at 7.75 with all the new editions to your family you would have to take out a loan to go to the movies...
I go though, it is cheaper than going to the bar for me at least.

But I don't know about the 3rd X-Men. I will go see them both as well as the new Mission Impossible flick.

I liked the X-Men films he made but thought they strayed away from the book to much, most didn't care because they got to see Wolverine after waiting 20 years. I hoped he did well with Superman but from what I understand about the plot and such and his casting choices makes me worry.

I don't need the plot to be taken from the comics or a slight twist on an origin. I wouldn't like to see for example Batman have a twin brothe or something like that.
What I don't like is when they totally get who the character is and if they stay away from anything campy.
The comic book movie I've ever seen where it is a taken frame for frame and word for word is Sin City, which I loved.
As far as casting choices, and this goes for any movie, I wait until I see the film before I judge that. The new Superman may suck, but he may not. Tom Hanks may be good in the Devinci Code or he may not. I don't think you can ever know until you see the finished film. Not just the trailer, but the whole film.

I'll see it. Thos Mission:Impossible movies are great. However, I have to agree on Tom Cruise. So so smug....
Tom Cruise is a little man too. At like 5'7" he would get his ass kicked in real life fighting those guys.

I can't even remember the last film I saw in a theatre......with HBO/Cinimax and DVD rentals, why bother?
