Vic Ketchman, of Jaguars.com, reports Jacksonville Jaguars WR Jimmy Smith considered retirement after the team's postseason loss to the New England Patriots. Smith said, "Right after the loss to New England, I was, like, I'm done. I don't want to do this any more. I had to really talk to people to see if I want to do that." Smith talked to former NFL WR Tim Brown early in the offseason and asked him how he kept his enthusiasm over 17 seasons. Brown told him to get away from football completely throughout the offseason. Smith added, "I did that and now I'm excited. The schedule is out. It doesn't look like we'll have any blackouts. I hope this will be the year for my young receivers to step up."

I hope he breaks his leg next preseason...

For what he did to us in '96.

I would love Smith to play for Denver. Him and Rod two cagey vets battleing each other for HOF. THey would play very well together.

The two Smiths and Lelie running the posts. NICE
