DENVER - 9News has learned, from independent sources, that Denver Nuggets Guard Julius Hodge was wounded in an early morning shooting on I-76. Hodge's injuries are reportedly not life threatening.

DENVER, Apr. 8 -- "We have learned that Julius Hodge was the victim of a shooting this morning. There is no apparent motive for this shooting and detectives from the Adams County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the incident. First and foremost, our primary concern is Julius’ health. The doctors have informed us that he is in fair condition and is expected to make a full recovery. That is all the information we have at this time. We ask that you respect his privacy."
