Just glanced at the schedule for the Rockies, but it turns out that they will be out of town until the Monday after the Broncos vs Chiefs tilt. So I guess we'll have to plan alternative options for those who were gonna do that on Saturday.

I may make the Colorado Buffs vs ASU game also, because two of my freinds go to those schools. They have been talking sheeit for months now so my job is to play referee that weekend.;D

I suspected as much..which is why Sass & I had plans made up for several cities depending on where the schedule placed the games. When the schedule was released, hotels & flights were booked that night......it seems a little extreme, but believe me, it saves a lot of headaches later on.

The next, and final, circus is when the single game tickets are released in July.....once that's secured, it's kick back and wait time.

This is a good one to catch! I think the best home games as a fan last year, were the 1st pre-season game, the Chiefs home game, and the Patriots in the playoffs. As for hotels, there are plenty of options. Downtown can fill up rather fast, but anywhere along I-25 is pretty accessable to the stadium

Most hotels you can book and cancel within a certain amount of time. Be sure to check their policy though... We did this last year and got flights later.
Also, hotels won't charge your credit card until you check in...unlike airlines.

For the pats game, we decided to go at the very last minute..called around for hotels, booked..or real $$$$. Went to hotwire.com and booked our hotel room from there. It was at the 4 something or rather, super super nice and ended up being $34 a night

I think they go on sale the 22nd of July. I checked at ticketmaster and for some reason they have away dates set and they'll all say on sale the 22nd. so that might be the date. also you can sign up there for notices on when the bronco tickets go on sale. I put my name in, so they should email me. I'll post it when I get if it has not been posted at the time.

Im going to this game and need some info on seating before I buy my tix. This will maybe be the only game I go to this year, and I want good seats. dosn't matter what the cost is. I definatley want to be in the nosiest and rowdiest part of the stadium, wich would probably be the south stands. Now my question is, how is the view there, can you see the other end of the field good. I guess what im trying to say is what are the pros and cons of sitting there. and if I do sit in that section, where is a good view of the field?

That's true but if you have to rent a car or take a cab places, we've found that it's less expensive to get a more expensive hotel that's right in the heart of all the activities...we stayed at The Warwick last year and walked the 16th St Mall and it was only 8 or 9 bucks to cab it to Invesco. We walked to Coors Field. The only place we ended up with a cab was to Aurora to Meck's and we took the shuttle to and from the airport. Duffy's...a good, inexpensive pub was within walking distance, too!

Not to mention...if you stay downtown...you can take the free mall ride to the station and catch the C train ($5 bucks round trip) to Invesco. But, John....you know that one! Remember standing out there for what seemed like FOREVER waiting for that train? That's because we waited too dang long to head to the station. Didn't have that problem when I went for the Raiders game!

Using the Mane as a small microcosm of Broncos fans, it does look as if there will be an unusually high demand for tickets to this particular game. Like last year, I'm gonna be very relieved to actually have the tickets in hand. ;D Yeah, $150+ apiece would be exorbitant for nosebleed seats... but then, the single game tickets haven't gone on sale yet.

Some hotel/airfare packages include the shuttle ride between the airport and the hotel. When we came to Denver for the Chargers '04 game, we stayed at the Warwick Hotel and used the shuttle. It's a van that picks you up right ouside the airport gate and drops you off at the hotel. Then when you're ready to leave, you just catch the shuttle again and it takes you back to the airport for your flight home.

Im right next to the bench, in row 1 and close enough to the endzone to see some points, and goal line stands and crowd noise, and I could also see the rest of the field pretty darn good. I know the south stands is the place to be in terms of crowd energy and loudness and all this, but I figuerd, IM in mile high, it's all going to be good, especially against our biggest rivals on home opening day. so it's all good. I just can't wait. I can't wait to tailgate, I can't wait for kickoff and watch us kick the **** out of the chieifs. It's going to be a great day. speaking of tailgate, sadley I have never done it. last year was my first game, and the first thing we did was go in the stadium. we were one of the first people in the stadium and I loved it. but now, I want to go and tailgate and have a great time doing that, then chill in the stadium. so I want to get to the stadium pretty early. what's the earliest that people can start tailgating for this game? isn't it like three hours before kickoff?

Lot C opens up @ 8:30am. It usually sells out fast. Lot M is going to be the place to be this year. I'll explain soon. M doesn't sell out nearly as fast and it's a little cheaper to park and less than 1 minute further to walk.

Blowin' up another AFL tailgate in K.C.!!!!! I was sportin' the "Dukes" Colorado Crush jersey.... We almost didn't make it out alive.... We were the first truck in the parking lot and had BBQ smoke going' at 7:15 am..... The Brigade/" Chef " fans were not so happy to see us.... We got pelted by "thunder sticks", beer cups and just about anything else they could find to throw at us..... What a kick a** time!!!! Elway is public enemy number one in K.C..... I LOVE IT!!!! I can't wait to blow up the Broncos vs. K.C. tailgate!!! See you all there!!!!:thumbsup:
