And how did you celebrate after?
I watched it at home and smoked a victory blunt I was saving.

At a friends in fort collins. We fished the Poudre all morning.
Caught and released a 20+ inch rainbow.
The hole that I caught it in is now known as the "SuperBowl Hole"

I watched SBXXXII at my sisters at a Christining party for my Nice & Nephew who were only as Big as Spiders kids, I think they came home weighing just under 5lbs. My dad is a Packer fan & we live in Chicago, the joke in Chicago was who was going to score more that day, the pack or Michael Jordan.
I remember feeding my Niece when Elway threw the int in the endzone & I yelled, she started crying & everyone was laughing at me trying to calm her down & watch the game.
My dad gave me grief so I threw a rattle at him, I still feel bad about that to this day.
BTW I think Jordan had an offnight that night, I never did hear how many points he scored that night. My Nephew is still a Bronco fan!

During my banishment to Houston time period. Fortunately I had some comrade in arms with me. My friend Greg actually would get nose bleeds watching the Broncos during the 80's. Thats the type of Broncos intensity required at my party.
So a VERY select crowd. All die hard Bronco fans. I couldn't bear anyone being a smidgen happy if "the other team" won.
By the end of the game we are all in a tense semi circle around the TV. When Mobley dropped the interception I fell out of the chair onto my knees. At the other end, Greg went up on his chair. Various reactions from everyone in between. -- Some went running out the front door screaming.
Happiest Day Ever.

I made all my non-football watching friends promise me at the beginning of the season that they would help me throw a Superbowl party if Denver made the game. I can't believe how well that worked out, and neither could they.
Most freakin' nerve wracking game of my life

In 1997, I was only 16 years old. So no after superbowl party for me...BUT, I was living at Bethel Park, Pa at the time...so sweet to run through Pittsburgh, and GreenBay to bring home the title. ****ing steeler hacks.

Sadly both superbowl years were spent in Santiago, Chile. Each game was videotaped so it was about a good month before I got to see each game....maybe I should go back to Chile and live there for another two years

Watched alot of it from a media trailer in the parking lot. Ended up sneaking into the game around the 3rd quarter with a media pass. I was able to get on the field after the game. It was incredible. Ironically enough Disco man was looking thru some of my old football pics today. We found a picture of him standing right behind me at the Broncos rally that was in the parking lot outside of the stadium. We didn't even know one another then. Pretty wild.
Was anyone else at that party? I don't remember alot of the details but I do remember a pair of hot blond chicks in black dresses performing before the game on stage.

I watched Super Bowl 32 at my parents house (was 13 years old).....
Afterwards, my Dad an me drove down Bowles (Gart sports on Bowles/Wadsworth had Championship shirts) honking our horn.
I watched Super Bowl 33 at my grandmothers in Parker. She is a hardcore Broncos lifer with season tix since 1960. We shot some fireworks, then I drove downtown with my Grandfather to wait for the team.... or maybe that was the AFC championship....
My greatest Denver sports memory was in June, 2001 with the Avs. I was at my Dads cabin in Winter Park (Winter Park, not Aspen - he doesent have a cabin in Aspen). We found this nice little bar in downtown Grand Lake at a restaraunt called "Barb's Bar" at EG's.
Grand Lake was THUMPING that night it was party central.... I must've been like 16, but I still had plenty of Beers and "Shots on Goal" - I think it was Absolut shots every time the Avs scored. Was an awesome night in beautiful, beautiful country.

My dads house. God, that morning we were so anxious we went skiing to pass the time. Both of us put in in our heads that they would lose, but it would hopefully be a competitive game. Anyway, we got home at about 3, an hour and 18 minutes before kickoff. I remember yelling at the tv before the game to start it already. Lol, I remember lieing to my boss that I had Superbowl tix so I wouldnt be able to work that day. After that game my dad and I were in disbelief that they actually won the SB.
One of the greatest days ever.
Then the next day I skipped the first period so I could drive to Southwest plaza mall and buy the SB T-shirt and hat.
good times.

I was at my friend's boyfriend/now husband's house...hanging with Viking/Packer fans. I thought it was over after the first TD was scored by GB...until the Broncos scored. I sat in disbelief when it was over...but I held it together long enough to get my chillled champagne out of the freezer.
Just gotta believe!

Believe it or not, I went to a lawyer friend's house in L.A. to watch it, and to my surprise, Ray Manzarek of The Doors was there, as was Steve De Jarnatt, the writer/director of the film "Miracle Mile." I knew the film well, and the guy's house was less than two miles from the Wilshire/Fairfax setting of the film, so I had a nice discussion with De Jarnatt. Only time I met either one.

Very few things, if any at all actually get me going emotionally..but when i see highlights of the game..it all starts with "You're tellng me this 37 year old man doesnt wanna win a superbowl after that hit?" with the windmill hit, i start getting choked up.

I watched the whole game standing up along with hundreds of other people, on big screen TV's set up under the canopy of the "Fremont Street Experience" here in Las Vegas. I was one of the few orange jerseys in a sea of green enthusiastically reacting and cheering to every single play. Afterwards I went in the Horseshoe to collect on my winning ticket. :sunshine: I remember it just like it was yesterday. Sweet memories that evoke so much emotion. Each season I live to feel that way again...

At home, I was about to turn 17. When Mobley batted down the last pass, I picked up my skinnier friend and carried him down the street screaming...I didn't even see the last play until the next day when I watched the tape. I didn't go to school on Monday, and my Grandfather, who bought me my first bronco outfit (a onezy) died the wednesday following the SB. We baried him with that tape...so umm, yeah, anyone got an extra tape..err dvd?
