Law watch

The Chiefs haven’t dismissed the idea of signing veteran free-agent cornerback Ty Law, but Peterson indicated his acquisition would happen after the late April draft — if it happens at all.

“It begins and maybe it ends with Ty Law and whether he wants another big contract,” Peterson said. “We’re not going to do that.”

Sounds like Hot Carl wants to go cheap with a Lenny Walls/Draft prospect solution & if that doesn't work out then he will be forced to call in Ty.

If I was a Cheef Fan I would be upset that one of the best FA's left on the market is sitting at home when the Cheefs need to fill that position. Hot Carl is low balling the position with castoff's & Rookies, it is not like the Cheefs D has been their stong point.

Then one can only assume that you are "upset" that Planahan lowballed TO.

As for Ty Law, I believe that most clear thinking football fans would agree that Law + a huge contract given his age and the average age of the Kansas City Chiefs would be prohibitive. "Clear thinking" being the key term here.

Kansas City Chiefs 3-10 in the playoffs since 1971; last playoff victory 1993. And you still believe the shiiit that comes out Carl Peterson's mouth. bwahahahahaha

T.O's age is only ONE reason some of us were against signing T.O. As much as I hate to admit it, Law would be a good signing while you groom new young corners. He just has to consent to being paid like someone who is on the downside of his career...

Carl, you guys need help at CB and Ty Law is available. Do you think you are going to help your team and sign him? “We’re not going to do that.”

Carl, you guys haven't won a playoff game since 1993 don't you think you need to do something big in free agency to help overcome that 13 year playoff drought? “We’re not going to do that.”

Carl, do you plan on having a winning record with the defense you have this year? “We’re not going to do that.”

Carl, we hear that you need help at LB and Lavar Arrington is available. Do you think you might try to sign him? “We’re not going to do that.”

Carl, Larry Johnson is about to become a free agent. Do you think you are going to pay him what he is worth this upcoming offseason? “We’re not going to do that.”

Carl, is it your goal to win a super bowl while you are with the Chiefs? “We’re not going to do that.”

One can also assume that the only reason Carl Peterson showed any interest in Owens at all is due to his never ending case of penis envy when it comes to Mike Shanahan.

Talk about a bucket boy.

I didn't want TO. I would have celebrated for the team if he scored a TD for the Broncos but would have never supported him as a Bronco.

Plus we don't have a GAPING Hole at WR that we need to fill, sure TO would have been an upgrade over Lelie or an aging Rod but not at the expense of his Ass-clown ways. We didn't need TO like the Cheeks need Law.

With Ty Law Hot Carl would not gamble on a Rookie or pick up an Ex-Bronco cast off that could no longer cover or tackle.

Who do you want to see fill that empty corner spot Crazy?

I can't blame Ty Law. He played well last year on a defense that was on the field all year. He probably doesn't deserve an enormous contract, but he certainly doesn't deserve a small one. He's still a very good player.

I do know that Carl is a royal douch bag for being a total jackass and pissing off Tony Richarson. Carl is the reason that he's not with the Chiefs this year. After all he did for the chiefs, not just as a player but as a moral leader, Chief fans should be ashamed of Carl.

They will never be ashamed of Carl. All the chief retards worship him. Here's to yet another failed season for the chiefs.

Sports Illustrated news this morning also had the Cheeps as the most likely to sign charles Woodson. With the acquisition of Surtain last year, and possibly Woodson and Law this year the Cheeps have a formidible defensive backfield. If it was 8 years ago! HaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHa

KC Chefs... 30+ years of mediocrity and still going

That's not true. I have some Chief fan friends and they all hate Carl.

The extent to which are wrong borders on the absurd.

I think you'll need to add a word or two to make this a sentence.

Indeed I was missing the word "you"

The post was so wrong I was dumbfounded into a world not known by mortal men. And in this world grammar takes a back seat.
