On ESPN yesterday. Said he's the perfect man for the job.
Who knows, he might be.

He'd be the first commish in sports history to get laid more than any of the players.ha
I'd be down for giving him the job.

Altho I find Bubba a lying bastard, he is a good negotiator. Hey, look how he got N.Korea to stop it's nuclear programs. Seriously, if he can keep his hands off the cheerleaders and sideline reporters(ala Broadway Joe), I wouldn't have a problem with it. I just can't see these Baron Owners going that direction, but who knows. Incredibly, I think it would be the best option. I don't see anyone else out there but Bowlen, and ummm...he's kinda busy right now.

Uh why are we caring who Chad Johnson wants as commish. He doesnt have any pull. If Clinton ended up as the new commish it wouldnt have came because Chad wanted it.

Bill Clinton is really the ONLY choice for the job. :pimp:

Anything less would be uncivilized.

Slick Willy would be a great choice. Him or Condi. As long as that arse Michael Eisner doesn't get it.

In a country where Jesse "The Body" Ventura can become Governor of a state, anything is possible.

They should form a commisioner triumvirate with Billy Bob Clinton, Jimmy Carter, and Chris Bermann

What about Jack Kemp? Or would the homosexuality rumors dog him there, too?

That and he makes more money giving speeches and whatnot. A commisioner is a real job. Ex-Presidents have the luxury if getting paid a ton of money to show up to places. Also if his wife wins the White House (Lord forbid) he'd probably want to help her by living/advising there.

Why would the Lord forbid Hillary from being president?

I still go with Condeleeza Rice, it would save the NFL a ton of money since they could just use her teeth as Field Goal posts instead of having to buy them.

Ah, so the people who voted Bush in are praying that Hillary won't be elected. Interesting!

Thats because she'll undo the mess Bush got us in :D

I think Dean will run though.

Back to the subject.... why not? People say Clinton has no integrity, but he was a savvy president. Commish cant be as stressfull.

actually Clinton never got them to stop. They lied. Under Clinton is when N korea escalated its nuclear program. The US has failed to curtail N koreas nuvlear ambitions.

See this is what I was trying to avoid, Beerslug. Then you and everyone else had to make it into another political pissing match.

I firmly maintain that this thread can be saved, and will ardently work toward that end if you support my candidacy for NFL Commissioner.

Hell yeah! Maybe with Bill as commisioner we could get the cheerleaders to wear skimpier outfits. And we could get a free cigar with every beer purchase...

They decided to re-up on the program, they have the same dream as most of us, seeing Bush's "agenda" blow up.

That's funny Kaylore:) You posted you're praying to God Hillary won't be elected president and then say you're trying to avoid a political pissing match.

I don't have any idea who the owners think the next commish should be but I'm sure it'll be some attorney with some kind of notoriety.

Im sure Bill could sell team secrets for profit. He did so good a job of that as President.

I'm sure people would be interested in Greasy Al's secret of how to field mediocrity, or worse, year after year, and how he ages so well. Is that what you're talking about?

It was sarcasm. It might sound odd, but he can usually build a consensus. But i agree, he will be hawking his biatch in 2008.
