I'll skip opening day because of the crowd, but I think the Rockies have a decent shot at the West this season. The division is very weak, and in Cook, Jennings, and Francis, they have a legit 1 2 & 3. What remains to be seen is how the 4 & 5 guys do, and if the pen holds up in front of Flores. Ray King was very good for the Cardinals two years ago, although he blew last year. The everyday lineup should be decent with a year or more of big league experience under their belts now.

I'll admit I had season tickets last year with a group of about 5 other people.

I had tickets to four seats for about 12 games, and went to about 9 of them. It's fun from time to time. Cant complain about being able to go into the Glass restuarant and drink beer and catch the game. But baseball gets boring real quick.

Easter Sunday!

My buddy and I stumbled into some tickets for the game today. We went thinking that they were decent seats. We were wrong. Really wrong.

THEY WERE INCREDIBLE.

We sat right in the middle of a whole bunch of major league scouts. Seriously, the only ones in our area that didn't have a radar gun out. We ended up 10 rows behind home plate watching all of the players wives walk by. Good times. Nice game too.

I enjoyed it. I'm hardly a hardcore baseball fan, so just sitting in the sun for a few hours was great for me. That said, after a rough first inning, Jason Jennings really settled down and could give the Rocks some solid innings this year.

Except for a little incident on the rooftop at Jacksons.

There I am, sitting with a few of my friends, when 4 hotties come walking by. I struck up a conversation, and the next thing you know, one of the girls takes off my hat and glasses. She then proceeds to unbutton my shirt, and reach down to my chest. I'm just sitting there with a cautious smile on my face.

all of a sudden, she grabs some of my chest hair and RIPS IT OUT!!!! I've never met this girl before in my life. Don't know what the hell she's thinking. I just buttoned my shirt back up, ordered another beer, and tried talking to other people.

Very strange.

They storm there way on the bus and say "Give me beer" or expect something for free because they are good looking. I know a few of you might have seen these tramps when we parked downtown last year for the "omaner party in lodo". Anyhow I get great pleasure in telling one of these "biathes" to get off the bus. They're look of surprise that someone would tell them to get the hell off is priceless.

I'd much rather sport a beer to a Broncos fan who has some interest in trying to understand what the bus is about or interested in joining the omane than some gal who expects something because she just got some implants.

If anyone wants to plan an Omane gathering for another ball game I'd be up for it.
