Anyone post this yet?

Moscow had informants inside U.S. Central Command whose information on the March 2003 invasion of Iraq was relayed to dictator Saddam Hussein days before American troops ousted him from power, according to a Defense Department history released yesterday.
And, as U.S. troops encircled Baghdad in April, Russia's ambassador fed information from Moscow's intelligence service to Saddam's regime regarding U.S. troop movements.
The new disclosures show that Moscow was working against the Bush administration in private, as it opposed in public the U.S. desire for a United Nations Security Council resolution explicitly authorizing the invasion.

Here's the rest.

I just read an article that said Saddam was preparing to deploy Camel WMDs. I had to laugh. He was going to strap explosives to Camels and send the things into US ranks to detonate.

Surely this wasnt the WMDs we went to Iraq capture.

Nations warn each other fairly often. Churchill told Stalin exactly what was going to happen. I seem to remember the Soviets warned the Arabs that Israel was about to strike before the 67 war, and it didnt help. Maybe my memory is off....

Finally, this reminds me of the Billy Jack thing. "I am gonna put my left foot on the right side of your head, and there isnt a thing you can do about it." I doubt Saddam coulda done much had he had the US timetables 48 hours before the kickoff of hostilities.

Saddam had zero militart skills case in point the war with iran, i watched a show about that war and they said you could walk a platoon between his defense placements playing AC/DC on a lod speaker and they would'nt have had a clue.

Are you unhappy in life? Why the negative personal attack? No **** russia isn't our friend. People like you wanted to form a "coalition" with these countries. No wonder they didn't want to help. And yes, my world is special. Sorry yours isn't.
