Plus they have their own draft value chart that is interesting.

That's a really good mock considering they dont even have Bunkley as a 1st rd pick.:D

Plus taking Lewis at 22 would be a total waste of our trade with Atlanta, we might as well have given them 22 instead of 29, Lewis wont make the 1st rd IMO.

I don't want to be crude, but if those were our picks, I'd have to go clean up.

uh...most mocks I've seen have him going in the first (including those where we didn't take him).

It strikes me that no matter which way this plays out, a lot of people are gonna be PO'd. Pope or Lewis? Dline or WR? Missionary or Doggie?
There are just a lot of different ways the draft could go down, including a draft day trade. Whichever, I will be there.

Agree - In Shanny we Trust. Believe it or not, he does know more than we do about the team needs and the players he will pick.

Which is irrelevant because if you ask any scout or read what people involved in the actually draft process, (sorry) Lewis is getting a second round grade as other tight ends in this draft are impressing, whereas Lewis is working out mediocre.

I think a lot of that is because they're judging him through the lens of the stereotypical TE. He's not that. He's more of an all-around receiving weapon, more in the style of Sharpe, but a better blocker. He's not going to have the kind of beef to drive off LBs in the run game but he can stick his blocks good enough inside. He's not going to be your "sixth lineman" type of TE, but you could play him out of the slot or even wide out. He's got fantastic hands. IMO, he's much more versatile of a weapon than your stereotypical TE. Plus, he's got a great head, he's smart, and he has some solid leadership qualitites, ie; an all around good citizen.

Roh, I think that's a quality post. I think the speed is what's hurting him. He may not time fast, but on the field it's a lot different. I hope it keeps dropping him, because I'd **** myself if he was at #61. He as a strong target I had at #29, but since we moved up, it's hard to justify taking him at #22 when I think Pope is a better pick and a better player.
He could get stronger too, so he doesn't get jammed at the next level though as well.
