I am seeing alot of threads with people venting about what the Broncos have not done, but I ask, what had they done at this time last year? I really cannot remember anything besides restructuring Trevor and the Browns invasion.
I think we need to relax. The Broncos made it to the AFC championship with what everyone has thought were previously rejects. I believe that their will be quaility in the draft and second tier free agents.

Ian Gold, Ebenezer Ekuban, Gerald Warren, Courtney Brown, resigned Trev Pryce, resigned Putz, resigned Sam Brandon, Todd 'the knockout' Saurburn, Ron Dayne, Jerry Rice, Michael Myers, John Engelberger- I'd say that was a great and very active Free Agency period very amazing FA period!

Hindsight is great but in actual fact a lot of posters on here were not too happy with them moves at the time.

I think we should fire Shanahan. What has he done since he's been here? I wish we would have gotten Art Shell when he was available.
We're screwed, and we're all going to die. DIE!

Broncos Send Droughns to Browns for Ekuban, Myers
The Broncos and Cleveland Browns wasted little time in becoming trading partners once again.
Less than four weeks after the teams completed a deal sending Gerard Warren to Denver in exchange for a fourth round pick in April's draft, the Broncos sent Reuben Droughns to Cleveland in exchange for defensive linemen Ebenezer Ekuban and Michael Myers.

Denver Acquires Three-Time Pro Bowler for Seventh-Round Pick and Jason Baker
As it was from the moment the Broncos brought their former special-teams captain back, a focal point of the offseason continues to be special teams.
Denver's offseason overhaul of the kicking and return units continued Thursday when the Broncos acquired three-time Pro Bowl punter Todd Sauerbrun from the Carolina Panthers in exchange for punter/kickoff specialist Jason Baker and a seventh-round selection in next year's NFL Draft.

Middlebrooks traded for defensive end
Acquiring Engelberger gives Broncos 14 experienced linemen
The Denver Broncos traded cornerback Willie Middlebrooks to the San Francisco 49ers Thursday for defensive end John Engelberger.
Engelberger's agent Robert Lattinville said he was informed Thursday evening the trade was official.
Middlebrooks, a first-round pick in 2001 who never panned out at cornerback, was expendable because the Broncos drafted three cornerbacks in April. Middlebrooks was coming off a season-ending leg injury last season. He was also arrested Jan. 1 on charges of third-degree assault, harassment and domestic violence.

Lang's a pretty decent signing IMO, somewhat similar to the Brown acquisition last year. If it all goes wrong Shanny can blame Patterson anyway.

After doing a quick search, I think the only significant activity was the Warren trade.

No one can argue this activity was no where near Abe or TO. Last year, this was garbage collection. Again. Almost all of those guys also are still on the roster. Still think we need to relax. Shore up the Safety, DE and WR with quality depth and we will win alot of games.

So at this time last year all they had done was trade for Warren? No. At this time last year we had done absolutely nothing. The train didn't start rolling until late March.
EDIT**** Sorry. Looks like Warren was it. THEN we started moving things along at the end of March.
