The only team with two first-round picks
Don't waste this opportunity, Shanahan!

Yeah really. We have a chance here to take two good prospects in a deep draft. I'd stick with the two picks, and see who we can get. I dont mind those two Mock picks either.

I have a hard time seeing the Broncos passing on Lendale if he makes it to the later part of round one. Same with Hali. If they some how managed to get White and Hali in the first....

Vernon Davis TE Maryland 10th (+4) 6th / 10th
The 49ers have to surround Alex Smith with weapons if they expect him to be successful. They replaced wide receiver Brandon Lloyd with free agent Antonio Bryant, but this offense needs a receiving threat over the middle.
DAMMIT DAMMIT DAMMIT. I look the guy up in top 100 and he was right at 29 a couple months ago. Now he's at 6? WTF!

I want Brandon or Young to take Ferguson's spot, not Jason Allen. Very crazy.

Did you see him at the combine? He's an absolute freak. Kiper is calling him the best TE prospect ever.

Check my first pick in our mock draft. Oh well...I was hoping he would suck at the combine than he runs a 4.38, faster than virtually anyone yet alone at that weight.

did Deangelo Williams really run a 4.49 40 as is quoted in the second article? that is not at all what I would expect for someone hyped as the 2nd coming of LT . . . . anyone know more on that?

The Faiders will take Hawk, that's a guarantee. Then he and Gallery can go to the hair salon together.

People like Kiper have been calling him a Top 10 pick since he declared, and then he ran at the Combine. Short of a miracle, he was never dropping to anywhere near Denver's spot.

I like seeing 86 guys with possible 2nd round grades

And 44 guys with possible 1st round grades.
Doesn't quite jive with Skins fan's proclamation that there are only 15 players worth a 1st round grade in this draft. ;D

It's BS, he hasn't ran yet.

I think we are shopping a pick so we have more money to pay TO at least thats what they are saying on espn radio.

This draft is one of the deepest in years, so we better not trade for anything other than landing Abraham. That's after he comes down on his asking price.

I like how we took Maroney right in front of the Colts there. Maybe Peyton can have it overturned by throwing a temper tantrum at the league offices in NYC.

I would rather go with Lendale White and Kiwi or Bing with those picks. I have been a huge fan of White since two years ago when I saw him run over a linebacker. I have been saying and am still saying, White will be a better pro than Bush.

White will be a better RB than Bush but Bush will have the better career overall
Bush is gonna be a mix of Faulk & Tomlinson, White is the Bus v2(possibly faster though) if White can get in shape & play at around 225 or 230 he'd easily be Ricky Williams or better

We're going to have a really good running back drop to us, gauranteed. The only question is whether or not we feel like taking him. I'm not so sure myself.

depends on how they grade out the RB's
when Portis came out everyone was on William Green's jock saying he was gonna be great & Portis was soft, Denver had Portis #1 & took him in round 2(worked out nicely)
When Bell came out if i remember correctly Denver also had him as their #1 RB
for all we know Brian Calhoun is Denver's #1 & they feel he'll fall to round 2 so they might pass on Williams or White if they fall & take defense

So why are we shopping picks? Jeez.
Cause we might get another Skins type deal. Trade one low 1st rounder for the chance at a mid to high pick and 2 MORE picks?? That's bonus, and the reason we'll have about 10 picks in this draft (and D. Fox I do believe).
