Why are we not considering this guy? He had a good year last year and is still young at just 25. He will be incredibly cheaper than TO, and come at a fraction of the emotional baggage.

Not a bad thought. Certainly an improvement over the Broncs 3-5 guys.

ehhh. 20 more catches than Randle El, but 66 fewer yards. only 8.9 YPC, but that may have sumthin to do w/ Carr having no time. doesn't exactly allow fo long routes.

I'd take him and I would also find a way to get Charles Rogers if that wouldn't work. Keep going down the list damn it. :) Keyshawn works also.

is he a free agent? he has a history of injuries but when hes healthy hes a heck of a player, just no collarbone shots in practice

He's on the chopping block. The Lions signed Coery Bradford and they think that Rogers is on his way out.

Id rather keep our guys and see what Devoe and Terrell can do with another year on our roster.

Pass. Between him being more fragile than a chandelier and his suspension for substance abuse, he doesn't leave a whole lot to be desired.

Sounds like the new coaching staff likes him anyways...

I would be completely in favour of bringing in another young WR like Rogers or Gaffney since they wouldn't cost an arm and a leg.
After 2006 Rod might retire, Lelie will probably seek greener pastures. Some may feel comfortable with Watts or Terrell taking over from these guys but I don't. The name of the game is to stay one step ahead and bringing in young talent that still has upside is the way to do it.

LOL...Yeah man.
I like Gaffney a lot, and would never be against seeing him in a Broncos uniform for the right price. But, to stay in the theme of other's posts, I would much rather have our 3-5 guys than Jabar. By getting him I think we would be taking a step sideways. The only way we go out and sign a WR is if we will be taking a step forward. If Gaffney or a player of his calibre is all we can get, then we may as well draft a reciever and leave it at that.

I don't think Gaffney is a "must have" but he has more demonstated productivity than anyone on the Broncs' roster except Rod and Ashley. Adam, Devoe, Terrell and Watts have all had their chance to prove themselves and the Broncs have received little from them. Broncs can't wait forever for "potential"

For how many years have we had this same coversation??? Denver needs a No3 WR better than what they currently have and each and every year we've been left disappointed, last year it was Jerry Rice we brought in god knows who it'll be this year.

I just don't see David Terrell having a very good career in Denver. I think he is gone after this coming year. Todd Devoe has better chance at remaining in the Blue and Orange. Heck Terrell played in one game last year, and he didn't even make a catch. He has made just two TD grabs in the last three years, 33 games. Those stats don't inspire much hope for me about his future.
