He'd be a solid backup.

I think he would be a good pick up . He's an experienced veteran that's familiar with our system. If Jake went down, we would have a back up that could throw the ball.

Get him. He wants to start, but his experience there should be the writing on the wall. If he's willing to come back and work as a backup, I'd be thrilled.

didnt Frerotte run into the wall and get a concussion?? LOL

I wouldnt mind having a solid vet as a backup, but BVP cant go to the PS, so it could be bye bye Bradlee!

I'll bet you'd take Griese as a backup.

I would love to pick up Ferotte . Last year I was so scared if Jake got hurt we would go in the tank. Bvp is a good runner but has not got enough playing time in the reg. season to be be trusted as a passer.

i loved when BVP got in. It definitely would be fun to watch him all year tho. But i agree, Gus definitely would make me feel better.

No. He didn't run in to a wall. It'd be more accurate to say that he assaulted a wall with his cranium in a fit of celebration. Sure he was concussed, and I think missed the remainder of the season, but he didn't run in to a wall. We should give him that.

Now, the only question is was he CONCUSSED before or after he pile-drived the bricks with his forehead...

id say after, but with the stupidity he showed, he might have had one before he knocked his head against the wall.
