Just vote.

Explain why, too.

You needed to click the add a pole.

No way was he worth his salary of 8.5 if he didn't want to work it down in real dollars.

I liked trevor for what he did with the broncos. but he's not as good anymore and unwilling to rework his contract. He needed to go, and I agreed with the decision.

I'm on the fence with this one. He wasn't playing up to his salary, but he wasn't some sorry player that was just stealing money. Teams had to game plan against him. The point of having him is so he can draw the double team and the others would just have to beat a single blocker. The other players didn't pick up the slack. There were times where Pryce was blocked by one O lineman, and he would go right by that guy. But it was rare that he wasn't doubled.

I wish the Broncos could have kept him. He was their best D lineman. Well, him and Warren. It's hard to compare the two because their roles are different.

In your poll, please add a "Neutral" option. Some of us are neither sad nor happy about his leaving Denver. Frankly, I think it was time. His productivity was diminishing, and his cost was increasing. Interesting that Shanahan kicked him out like an aged teenager, but it was time.

I wouldn't say sad, but I'm sorry to see him go because Trev was one of the last of the holdovers from the Super Bowl winning teams.

the guy was a bum the last 2 years, after he got paid, he got fat and happy, which was the knock on him coming out of college....He just doesn't have any heart or guts and dissapears at the worst times, where was he in the afc chipper, when we needed a play, no where near the qb, getting blocked, time to cut bait and start over.

He also had a bad attitude, thought he was a gm, and thought he could do a better job than the broncos or larry coyer, or sundquist, or patterson or any of the front office. Enjoy baltimore and that hybrid defense they run, he will not enjoy being ray lewis' bitch either...

Sad, but it's best for both parties, it was a win/win. When we let Sharpe go, that SUCKED!!!!!

I am an old traditionalist who likes loyalty between teams and players. hated to see him leave in my heart, but understand with my head.

Don't worry, we're busily trying to acquire an even higher priced underachiever to replace him.

JA avg 10 sacks a season Slap. That is huge, not to mention the qb pressures that will lead to interceptions.

I don't know where you came up with any of that.

He was in the best shape of his career the past two years. I don't think at any time that he was over weight.

Just like Bert Berry and Reggie Hayward.

Gaybraham is a panic move. Plain and simple.

Pryce WAS a great player for us and it's sad that his back injury slowed his career. It was time for Pryce to go, and I'm glad Baltimore overpaid for Pryce's past reputation...ROFL!

Sarge and Pryce up next on NFL Network (press conference).

Pryce says biggest reason he's in Baltimore is because Shannon told him to play there (great organization). Said he talked to Eagles, Browns and Dolphins. Says the Broncos told him he would finish his career in Denver

Sarge says he's as excited as his rookie year. Says the Ravens have a class organization. Says he will do anything that is asked of him.

I was hoping we could keep Trev around at a bargain rate. He's declining quickly, but was still a B player. That gave us a couple of above average players on our line.

Now we've got a couple of rotational guys on the ends and one good player in the middle. It makes bringing in a guy like Abraham even more of a priority.
We need talent up front. Given the FA period is in its infancy... we've gotten less talented up front, thus far.

Hate to lose the talent, but the demeanor I'm glad to be without. His Rome interview really rubbed me the wrong way when he talked about how the Steelers game "felt" different during warm ups compared to the Patriots game. It sounded completely defeatist, and IMO had to have been mostly in his head.

I always liked Pryce before but have soured now - I will answer his indifference with my own.

of course i am sad. He was here a long time since his beginnings. He still had 8 sacks this year. He came back from injury. If we still had Hayward or Berry, his sacks would have been up in 05. Hope he does well except the game vs denver. He should get all the respect when he comes to Denver in 06. 5 years $25 million? He wont last that long.

The guy is good, but I don't think his heart is in it anymore. His music studio likely is more interesting and rewarding at this point......

Indifferent...

There is some stuff about Trev from the 2004 Season that hasn't exactly gotten out yet... The team held it under pretty tight wraps, as they were trying to trade him. I don't know the full extent of it, but I do know that there was no love lost in this departure between the team and Trev.

Im sad to see him go. But im also happy he is gone. Time to draft some fresh young talent and let them take over!

Happy. Terrible contract, refusal to re-negotiate in year's past, and his play has gone downhill. It had to be done.

Instead we're going to throw away a number one pick on a gutless punk who faked an injury during a playoff run in a ****-You-Pay-Me move.

He had to go!
He once was a great player but even then was he worth that huge contract?
I don't think so.
We need more youth on the line!

Happy if we hurry up and get off our asses to bring someone in who can legitimately replace him pronto ... sad otherwise.

Just watched Trevor on NFL Network. Sounded mildly bitter about the way his release went down. Also said Shannon told him a couple of years ago thta if he ever had a change to play for the Ravens, do it. Also said he welcome the chance to actully ruch hte QB and not be a tackling dummy!

Sad. He was a Bronco. I don't want to see him in Purple of all places. He had dissappeared when we really needed him, so time to move on. Cliche Business is Business.

Overall happy. I will say thanks for the memories. I don't know that he was ever as good as he could have been, but I'm no scout/gm either. But let's face it, rarely does denver lose a player to free agency and regret it. Sharpe comes to mind, but that's about it. Oh, and Gold, I guess.

That's pretty much how I feel with the exception being that Pryce said that he wasn't willing to take a pay cut. He wasn't worth it and wasn't willing to negotiate so we had no choice. Ikind of hacks me off that after we were put into a situation like that that he's all sour grapes and bad-mouthing us.

Pryce with his "if ya can't win, don't try" stuff again. I didn't know about that interview, but he's said it before. Players like that, you try to find somebody else for your team.

I agree with Ludo (or maybe its because I'm an optimist.) JA is all about himself and his big paycheck. I have serious doubts he and Shanahan will see eye-to-eye on anything.

Something tells me he is going to have a huge year in Baltimore, maybe double digit sacks.
