$5 million isn't a lot but it will be enough to limit them in free agency.

The Raiders are only over because they havent cut Collins yet.

So, are they in Violation? is there a grace period? How soon can the NFL take away one of their DRAFT PICKS?!?

Tagliabue is already re-writing the rule book in favor of the Colts, so don't get too excited.

I hear a "Window of Opportunity" squeaking shut.
They won't even qualify as a latter-day Buffalo Bills.

Excuse me if I don't cry a river over the Colts problems. I guess you get cap problems when you try to pay one quarterback more than some teams complete payrolls...lol

I wish but as long as they have Manning they'll always be a threat. They are still loaded it will be nice when they lose James though.

I would love to see Jose cut 4000 times Cortez kicking clutch kicks for the Colts next year.

Notice the "Broncos are in cap trouble" trolls have vanished? They are like Gollum, totally clueless..
We are sitting on multiple picks in the draft, off a 13-3 season with minimal loss and the possibility we could add as many as a dozen players to the roster out of maybe 15 additions. We have like 10 picks and probably will bring in at least two or three FA's. We also have some players stashed on IR or in Europe.
BTW, Kenoy Kennedys comp might be a 5th or 6th but the article confused me. It's not clear to me, but whatever. He started all 16 games but there was some condition that made no sense to me.

That kick was bad, but he still is the all-time most accurate kicker in the history of the game, while Cortez is below 50% after 40 yards.

SORRY! I think he read that article wrong ...
The contracts weren't voided because they violated anything, they are voided because they were done as a contingency - in the dark hours of CBA bargaining - when the deadline to be under the cap was hours away. They probably included a clause that voided them in the event a new CBA was signed.
ACTUALLY .... the Colts probably have MORE cap room now, because these two knuckleheads can spread their filthy booty over more years.
Sorry.
