View Full Version : Something interesting about TO

KansasBronco

This is from one of the other bronco sites I visit daily. The source is from one of the moderators and someone I respect very much. Like he said, things can chage but this is interesting. Remember Sundquist said to Denver fans, don't worry about the cuts of Anderson, Pryce and Putzier, that when the time came, we would all see that the broncos have a plan. Of course all this crap will finally happen once the CBA is figured out.

He knows someone with the same agent?

Well TO is from my state (alabama) and I say he isn't coming because I know where he use to live. But I'm not going to comment any further.

Ok kidding aside. I hope it is true.

I would absolutely LOVE to see TO in orange and blue. TO, Abraham, and a nice RB will bring us AFC dominance. Those additions will take care of all of the glaring needs of the team. Then Denver can draft the best players on the board at their spots. Beautiful.

Yeah, I was hoping to hear some good news this morning when I came in from work.

Guess I'll have to wait another 14 hours when I get home tomorrow morning. :(

Deadline is 8 Eastern I believe.
Yep, but that could change again.

The NFL owners have until 8 p.m. ET Wednesday to inform the union whether or not they will accept the current proposal. Here's what happens next:

Thumbs up
• Free agency will start at 12:01 a.m. ET Friday, 24 hours later than scheduled.
• The 2006 salary cap will be around $105 million.

Thumbs down
• Teams will have until 9 p.m. ET to comply with the 2006 salary cap of $94.5 million.
• Free agency will start at 12:01 a.m. ET Thursday, as currently scheduled.
• The salary cap will dissolve after the season, making 2007 an uncapped year.

Yep, but that could change again.

One of the bigwigs on ESPN said that there would not be another extension. Then again, there have been so many false reports that it's hard to tell. That said, I get the feeling that they are done extending this. It's either done or not tonight.

I'm all for it! I'm ready for a big shake up. I don't care at this point. Jump off the deck and worry about how deep the water is later! Bring all the crazies, felons, whackos...I don't care. I just want Denver to win now. And if it doesn't work out...well, what a crazy circus it will be to watch and read about. It's better to go down with an amazing bang than to fade out with a whimper.

TO, J. Lewis, Ricky, Abraham...anyone else out there got any drug or mental problems who can play ball? If so, come on in, baby! We got a place at the table for ya!

Sympathize with your enthusiasm, but you can't have a big shake up on a 13/3 team. Just add a couple of nice pieces that bump it to 14/2 and win the big one.

Every body else seems to want to throw McNabb under a bus too!!!
Our offense would be real scary with him and he is a model citizen if you win, which we did a lot of last year!

We need an impact player on Offense! Lelie, and Duke can only benefit from having a guy like TO out there. Not to mention the run game will benefit! Man, now im getting excited and nothing has happened yet. Ha!

I am Draft Crazy on KFFL. Read closely, I dont want anyone banking on this, just what I heard from a very good source, but we all know that some team can slip in and things can happen. All I know is that it appears right now that TO wants to play for us and we want him and we have a deal that he is cool about signing. But again a lot can change. This isn't public, so watch next thing ya know ESPN will be saying an internet site is reporting. ;)

Well, I might be eating crow about Miami. I thought I heard he had bought a house...maybe he was just window shopping, or has this idea that Denver is on the North Pole...the weather is nicer in Denver than Philly. He might have the idea he would be able to escape the cold via United.

I have absolutely no clue what that deal would look like.

Ha! No kidding. If some of these rumors are true, and some of these guys might be coming to Denver, I'm going to have to get used to saying (with a straight face):

-"Yeah, so....maybe Garcia is gay?"

-"He may have been involved with a coke deal, but at least he wasn't involved with stabbing someone like some other Raven players I know."

-"Sure he smokes weed and likes yoga...who doesn't?"

-"Yeah, so he quit on his team and didn't play during the playoffs. I call off sick too now and then."

For another Super Bowl victory, I think I can handle that! :charge:

A Vet WR will be in Denver next year. As Watts showed, it takes time to develop WR's if you want to make a run. Watts might never fully develop.

We will just trust Bronco Billy when he gets back from Detroit. http://www.bangcartoon.com/images/billy.gif

Listen to that sound: That's the hot air leaving Denver's baloon. No TO.

Well, the fat lady hasn't put on her makeup yet, so we will have to see what happens when the bell rings next Saturday. (FA was delayed until Saturday sometime, according to ESPN.) We do not know what the Brain Trust will do or not. We have not heard from wabbit, so we have no real idea.

Maybe the Cowgirls will talk to TO. I know that Tuna is an "all winning, no BS" guy, and maybe that is what Rose 'N Goober will tell TO thats what he needs. Rose 'N Goober needs the cash......
