Should the Broncos look at the availability of Culpepper or Brees? Culpepper is apparently getting himself in serious shape, my guess is with intentions of a fresh new start after all that's happened in Minnesota. Drew Brees won't be back in San Diego as the Chargers are ready to go with Rivers. I'm probably alone on this one but I'm not sold on Jake Plummer taking the Broncos further than the AFC championship. Why should Shanahan settle for a QB that can "manage" the game as most NFL experts say Plummer does? Managing the offense as a starting QB is basic football IMO, and that tells me the head coach is avoiding the prospects of having a skilled playmaker behind center who's a natural scoring threat on every down. Does anyone remember Elway just managing a Broncos game? Also, LaVar Arrington just gave up 4 mil and left the Skins to be an unrestricted free agent. Anyone think Shanahan and the Broncos should gamble on him?

Getting the job done as is not good enough as far as I'm concerned and I would rather have a skilled playmaker behind center who's a natural scoring threat on every down with a solid supporting cast. Can they play D-Line or safety???

All you chicken littles weren't sold on Jake taking us anywhere past the first round, either.
Culpepper - Brees...damaged goods and both haven't been any further than Jake has. Jake keeps showing he is progressing.
I'd rather gamble on Arrington, who we could use as a situational guy to attack the LOS.

This coming from the guy whose team pays nearly $150,000.00 a tackle for Kendrell Bell.

Brees and Culpepper sure have taken their teams far. It used to be that Plummer will never take a team deep into the playoffs. Now that he's done that, it's that he can't get to the Super Bowl. If he gets there and loses, it'll be that he can never win the Super Bowl. I guess that's just the nature of the beast for QB's, considering Melon Head hears the same stuff year after year.

I heard Brees has tremendous ball-hawk skills and is a sure tackler.

Jake did not take us past the first round, Champ Bailey did.
Bailey won that playoff game.

At the price tags they're gonna want to play at, take a pass on all of them. I bet Boob would give his fictional left nut to get brees.

if there's no new cba, the broncos will be lucky to able to sign all their draft picks let alone go after free agents..

Brees - Think Pennington with that shoulder injury, useless
Culpepper - Cant complete a pass to anyone but Randy Moss
Arrington - Dont have a spot for him, although Id rather have him than IG

We don't need any of them, if we could get any three I would want Eric Moulds, Will Shields, Edge James. and let me explain
1. Moulds would fit in nicely here, TO lovers think he will come in a grab 2000 yards and 30 TDs...that will never happen with Shanny as coach WE RUN THE BALL!!! Moulds would get plenty of chances and would not b!tch out Jake on the sidelines.
2. Our line is good but comon' Will freakin Shields! I could run for 2000 yards behind our guys!
3. A feature back, cut cut ability, speed, can pickup the blitz, good hands...everything our B.A.D. is sepretely he is in one package.
That would be my perfect FA's wish list.

So you want to add a probowl qb to back up plummer, and add an arrington to the one unit on defense we have no problems with? Uhh...ok.

Wow...no way.
None of these moves would be feasible, and might borderline on idiotic. To throw away precious money at those guys wouldn't be worth it and could end up being detrimental to what we have going. QB and LB are two of our most solidified positions, at least from a starters stand-point.

Of the three, I would think we would avoid Arrington for the fact that he seems incapable of playing with discipline. Derrick Thomas was the same, so they designed a defense around him. My personal feeling is that he would be best used in KC with Gunther ressurecting the Falcon defense and letting Arrington run free. I don't know if Arrington could pull it off, but at least the situation would fit his strength.
It sounds crazy, for sure. But at this point, the Chiefs need to create pressure, and they're not doing it with their line.

Totally. None of them. Need is for a DE, and a WR. None of theoise guys can actually help the Broncos right now.
Go home Boob. You can dabble in your fantasies and display your stupidity on the Huddle (Unless they've banned you from there as well????).
