That's too bold. No way he makes it through the mid rounds IMO when teams like Denver, Miami, and Washington (to name a few) are in need of a hard hitting SS.

Denver isn't in need of a hard hitting safety. They are in need of a safety that can cover and has the ability to find the ball. Blue doesn't fit that mold at all.

Ran a 4.72 He may be drafted by some team to play OLB, but I don't think he will ever play S in the NFL. Of course this is a thread for "boldest" predictions. But I would bet heavy $$ that he doesn't go, if at all, before round 6.

1-i agree that deangelo could be an LT clone. plays just like him and just as productive in college.
2- Blue isn't that good. he can't cover and he can't catch a cold. he will be exposed in the NFL. Remember Browner projected as a 2nd rounder last year? where did he get picked?

1. This trade up was for nothing more than to put Denver in position to take the guy who unexpectedly drops on draft day. If that player fills a need, he's a Bronco. If he doesn't, they trade out of the spot to someone else who wants the guy.
1a. If VY or JC drop to 15, he'll be a Bronco.

Isn't DeAngelo a bit smallish? Isn't he a Quinton Griffith redux in hype? Would he not get smacked badly in the pros and lose his patina of competence rapidly? Isn't there some way the Broncos could end up with Pope and Moroney?
Boldly: Yes yes, yes, yes, I say!

I do not think the Texans take Bush and take D'Brick. Bush drops to about 8 or 10 spots. Denver gets Davis (15) and Moroney (22). Denver takes Tapp in 2nd and Anderson of CSU in third with comp. After the dance, Denver trades a 2nd in 2007 for Walker.
I will win the lottery.
