Wonder why Denver can not get Gerrard Warren signed to a one year deal.

Why would we want to do that?

We want certainty one way or another. Either he is here for the long haul or not.

I think they have a couple plans and Warren wants to come back at a reasonable Pryce. We just need to know the game rules.

Because any deal is going to have to fit in the one year remaining Sal. Cap. So both Salary and Bonus will count in 06. Without any more year's of cap. It all counts now.

So there's now way the Broncos can spread any bonus out over a period of years.

So the money has to fit into the 06 window. Which isn't much. Maybe a few Million.

So it's going to be a cheap year again (without a new CBA) just like last year.

Is Green all the way back from his injury? That could be a factor in the one-year deal.
