He didn't expect to see FA delayed. Can't reach his source. Still expects the deal to be announced Sunday night or Monday morning. Delay in FA has allowed other teams to possibly come in and get Abraham since they found out what Denver was willing to give up, so not totally sure if Denver is where JA will end up.

He's claiming that free agency being pushed back has delayed this deal and that it may be giving time for other teams to "swoop in and make a better offer for Abraham." He named The Lions & Falcons as possiblities but assured us that he's desperately trying to get in touch with his "source."

He should be concentrating on traditional college activities- drinking heavily and trying to hook up with the ladies, not trying to be NFL insider. Dork.

I think its a legitimate reason for the trade not being announced or being done.

That's almost painful to watch.
"I was on a flight all day - from Boston to New Jersey." :)
That Boston-Newark flight is the new LA to Tokyo!
I'm just embarrassed for the kid.

Signs that showed this trade’s hand: Yesterday the Broncos got way under the salary cap by cutting Trevor Pryce and Jeb Putzier.
WTF...that got us less than a million under...now I think we are about 5 under but Warren is voided...and he's kept his nose clean...funny how so many "troublemakers" come here and become model citizens(with some obvious exceptions like the Grey Goose incident)...lots of obvious reasons, all teams have bumps in the road. You take a kid out of Jackson Mississippi that lived on hooves and cornbread and make him a millionaire...well...that's difficult for them to handle, understandably.
That said....Abraham may very well be traded to the Lions, but I think they need another WR actually Ha! The extention very well could be pushing something back, if anything...this reminds me of the Pryce fiasco last year...

I think its a legitimate reason for the trade not being announced or being done.
Of course the major reason there can be no trade is that Denver (or whoever) hasn't agreed to a long-term contract for Abraham. Until that happens, he won't be traded.
