Before Lepsis' deal, NFLPA figures had the Broncos $5.7 million over the new, albeit tentative, salary-cap threshold of $94.5 million, which includes the earlier releases of running back Mike Anderson, tight end Jeb Putzier and defensive end Trevor Pryce.

But Warren's $8.25 million salary that currently is on the books already has technically voided, and the Broncos' cap overage also doesn't include any previously earned credits or other renegotiations.

The bottom line is Denver barely should be in compliance with the new cap at 4 p.m. Sunday while still possessing the ability to sign its own free agents.

What a bunch of tossers we have reporting on our team. These fvcking idiots couldn't organise a barbecue!

I don't think Warren's deal voids (???) since the start of free agency was postponed till Monday. Maybe then?

Any news on how "imminent" his signing is?
