I'm having fun with this cut. I'm surrounded by Chief fans, so I'm going up to them and saying "wouldn't it be funny if Shields came to Denver and then won the Superbowl. Just like Niel Smith did."
They don't think its very funny. There a bit upset by the cut.

I think, oh moronic one, that he means pretty much everyone except Chicago are gonna be in a bad spot due to the lack of a deal being made.
You will see many teams struglling to get under. Mostly teams that spend a lot andutilize the cap. Teams were planning their futures on a new CBA contract being agreed on and weren't expecting no deal to be made.
Its not like the Chiefs and Broncos and a host of other teams are stupid for using the cap to their advantage. Really, who knew Upshaw and Tagliabue would find a way to **** it up for everyone, the fans most of all.

I've asked this before and I'll ask it again.
If Plummer is holding us back and is as horrible as you suggest; If we've made the playoffs every year he's been here, went 13-3 last year and made it to the AFC championship game knocking the Patriots off in the process; If he is the reason that we haven't made it all the way, doesn't that suggest that we have greatest team in the history of the NFL and with Plummer removed we would have gone undefeated and won SB 40 55-3? I mean if him holding us back is us going 13-3, Trent Dilfer would take us to the big dance right?
Moron.

I dont credit Plummer for your success. Pretty simple really.
I mean, even Planny cut his balls off this season. The story on him all year was he was a better QB because he wasn't his usual blundering self. The reason for that was due to Plannys fear of him, and recognition that he is not a QB that can lead a team anywhere.
For you to suggest Plummer as the single reason for the success the Broncos enjoyed this year is desperate. I give you more credibility to know what you're talking about. However, when you take me on, you resemble a left handed pass on the 3 yard line, if you will.
I will conceed that Plummer had flashes of good play, but who doesn't. Plummer staying out of his own way is a credit to Shanny, not to Plummer.
Moron indeed.
But then you clowns thought Trevor Pryce was the best end in the game. So there you go.

The only one who's asserted that one player is the keystone to our success/failure is you. I would never argue that Plummer is THE reason we lost 13 games, or THE reason we won them, but he is one of many. Bad Quarterbacks - even average ones - don't have 33-15 records with three consecutive post season appearances in three seasons.

How's it stupidity exactly??? I call it 2 teams doing whatever they can every year to win it all within the constraints of a salary cap. No-one knew for sure whether the CBA would be extended or not and we still dont. Would you rather your team was the Cardinals and was $20 million under the cap every year with a tight-wad owner???
Furthermore it doesn't bother me one bit about the 3 guys who were released yesterday because they were all going to have diminished roles this season which would've been nowhere near their cap levels. If you even take a look at the Chiefs casualty list I'm sure you feel pretty similar. If Shields sticks around there's not 1 player on that list worth worrying about.

Tell me this genius...you don't think Big Ben "managed" games, or Dilfer didn't "manage" games to a SB win?
Denver lost because we let Pitt convert 21 of 26 3rd downs, many 7 yards or more. This is so amusing because Pitt actually has a defense as well. The whole team had an off day against a team that brought it's A game.
Did you enjoy sitting at home with a losing record watching the window slam shut on your nursing home? STFU. The crier left, Sanders left and you have even more holes than last year. Oh, and BTW, your still over the cap while we are under it.

Actually two....Miami and Pitt, but it sure was better than KC and the Chimps. Noone here said Jake had a good game, but Pitt has a defense and a surprising QB in Ben. We got our lunch handed to us, but the whole team laid an egg. You might remember that Pitt was 15-1 in 2004 and much of the media had us in the basement and Oakland winning the division...so when they are making all kinds of excuses while Jake was headed for Hawaii....well take that under advisement why they made a bunch of deflection of their ignorance.
