I'm following it on Sportsline, looks like K-Mart is playing well. This is a good gauge for the Nugz.

Yeah I'm watching the play by play on Yahoo gamechannel. Hopefully we start shooting better and maybe we will have a chance at winning this one.

this matchup gnaws at me ... just another reminder of what a blunder it was to let Chauncey get away ... yeah, Kiki's a "great" GM. Let Billups get away and trade for a registered sex offender. Pure genius ...

The more I watch this, the more pissed off i am getting at the fact we are now beating the best team in the league by 9, and lost by 21 to the friggin Bucks. This team has a lot of dog in them.

"Chauncey Billups gets to the hoop better then anybody in the NBA" what a joke. Anybody hear that comment? I can think of a lot of guys that are better.

this game is yet another confirmation of how inconsistent the Nugs have been all season long.

The Jeckyl & Hyde Nuggets do it again. Two days ago they looked lazy and disinterested while getting blown out by Milwaukee. Tonight they decided to play hard and managed to beat the best team in the NBA.

Marcus Camby looked like the pre-finger surgery Camby for the first time since he came back. He was all over the boards, blocking shots, changing shots and playing his best overall game in a long time. 12 points, 20 rebounds and 5 blocks.

Kenyon decided to bring his A game tonight. 28 points, 12 rebounds and some great work on defense. That's the player the Nuggets believed they were getting when they signed him.

Carmelo had a solid all-around game. 25 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. That's outstanding considering that Carmelo usually struggles badly against Detroit.

Ruben Patterson played a hell of game. Hard work and hustle all night. I like what I saw. Same goes for Reggie Evans.

If they can bring that kind of effort every night, this team can beat anyone. Only problem is the effort is far too inconsistant.

Here's the stat of the game.

Rebounds
Denver 59
Detroit 35

That's what hard work will do for you.

This would have been a VERY good team if they could have kept Nene healthy... losing that inside presence really hurts.

looks more like an anomaly than anything.

And it probably was. Still, the Nuggets dominated the boards and that was the difference in the game. I'm pleased with the effort.
