Wow, second behind Mike Kudla, who did 45, but that's impressive as hell. What a beast.

I saw him yesterday when he was getting into that Bod Pod. He's so massive that he barely fit in there. 44 reps is just ridiculous.

Damn, there is a good chance he will go before 22 now, no chance at 29.

Remember the 'Be Honest' thread, this is the opposite!

We're put in the position of having to hope and pray that Bunkley gets to 22 now.

Great.

The drama of such a wait is only going to be enhanced if we lose Warren as well.

Jeez, im biting my nails already.

good idea.

Med, we are counting on you to walk to the parking lot at the Dome and dump some dope or whatever in Bunkley's car. And then just call up Rich Eisen and bring them to the scene.

Thanks.

How many did Ngata get?
37 reps.

NFL Network also showed a few other guys benching. Hawk did ok, can't recall his number. Fasano only did 19 reps, not bad but not great, Vernon Davis did 33!

Mario Williams did 35 (might have been 33), bad form too, he looked much stronger than his reps indicated, but was hurt by his huge wingspan in terms of reps.

Man i like both those guys and that just entrenches them in then top 10 to me. I am usualy onthat says we dont need a TE but all 3 (Davis, Lewis, and Pope) look like a major upgrade not knocking putz but he doesnt have a body like any of them. I miss the days of Sharpe and i would realy like a big, good handed target to throw to. And as for M. Will. that is just a dream to have him but i wouldnt pass ujp on 2 1rst rounders to get him.

christ! can't i just have one defensive stud actually fall to Denver, is it some much to ask?

i wanted Williams but he obviously ain't going outside the top 10,then i wanted Ngata but he's top 15, now friggin Bunkley is likely top 15 or atleast top 20

what next Ko Simpson or Darnell Bing top 15 as well?

It's all good. I hope Bing, Ko Simpson, and Bunkly go in the top 15 along with Mario Williams and Ngata. That only leaves 10 other top 15's. Bush, Leinart, Young, Ferguson, and Hawk take up half of that, and then there's Vernon Davis and Jay Cutler. What about Huff and Jimmy Williams? There's too much talent in this draft. We'll get two quality top 15 picks with 22 and 29. !Booya!

Guys you acting like he ran a 4.3 in the 40. The record is 45 reps right. Does any body remember the other guy that holds that record and what he did in the NFL.

As was said in this thread, Kudla broke the record yesterday shortly before Bunkley did his 44 reps. It really matters for both players since neither is really heavy for their position. The fact that they outlifted heavier, more stout players by significant reps will definately effect their draft position.

BUNKLEY/LAWSON is what we need. Power and Speed added to our DL would make us very strong in the trenches. Lawson ran a 4.41 at 241. I know I've said this several times before, but Kearse played his rookie year at 240 and was an absolute stud! He ran in the 4.45 range as well. Lawson is another Kearse... how do you pass that up???

I'm not saying that the guy ain't stong and I ain't saying it isn't important to the players. But my personal view of the Bench press at the combine is a little meaningless.

I could definitely handle Bunkley/Lawson, but I think Hali is a better DE right now. He has an endless motor, and holds up against the run. Lawson has a nice upside, but I think Hali has immediate impact as an every down DE. For a SB run we need players that will have immediate impact.

Lawson may not reach his potential for a couple of years, and that may overshoot our SB window. I like Lawson a lot though. I'd put him #3 behind Mario and Hali at the position, and I'd be thrilled to take him if Hali is off the board.

Only way we get Bunkley is if we move up around 6,7 spots. Its just a matter of whether the team is willing to part with a few mid round picks.

normally i would say that a 1 handed reciever has no value... but when your able to trade a benched corner who was being converted to WR, anything is possible

Screw this messing around with Bell and trying to develop him, when we could get our hands on, possibly, the next LT2...

That would be great. If trevor actually has some value, Trade both Trevor and Bell and move one or both of our first round picks and get some real difference makers...

or get another (mid to high) 2nd rounder, so we have 2 1st rounders and 2 2nd rounders !!! !Booya! :militia: !Booya!

He is not quite as good, but he excellerates around the edge and explodes into his cuts just like LT2. And he always maintains his ballance, plus is excellent as a receiver in the ways you want your RB to be. Awesome for the swing pass.

The only thing is, he is just a little bit smaller (shorter by 1 or 2 inches) than LT2. But he is ATLEAST as good as Cadaliac Williams...

But, I truelly bellieve, he can be the next LT2...

I live near Memphis and have seen him play alot. I dont know if i would put him with L. Tom.. He isn't as big and has injury concerns but he is fast and very agile. I believe he can scan the field and know his best holes are going to be. uses his head, such as the time he busted a big play and someone was coming up behind him and he knew which way to move to dodge the tackle (he was watching himself on the big screen at the back of the endzone, imo a very smart thing to do).His hands have looked good at times but have never been tested. I think he will be a very good every down back, and i would trade up to get him.

Thanks for the opinion guys... I have always been of the opinion that 1st round talent in our system would be devastating. I think alot of people have forgotten just how unstopable we were with TD back there.

Since you live around there, does he come across as much of a class act as he does on TV. How does he come off as a person?

B/c Tatum hasn't shown that he's good enough to be our featured back. The job was his for the taking last year and couldn't become the man. By the same token, he has avg about 5.5 yards per carry over the past two yards and has shown to be a homerun threat. Some team could see him (Seattle) as a very good option! Honestly, I think he fits very well in Seattle. MoMo is a good 3rd down back. Tatum struggles at catching the ball and picking up the blitz. Makes sense, but so do a lot of things that never transpire.

Perhaps Tatum and our 2nd would move us up to 31 overall? Doubtful, but if the Seachickens don't think they can bring back Alexander and feel that the big 4 RB's will be off the board by 31 they may be willing. This is a type of deal that would have to happen prior to the draft though. No way would the Seahawks take a player without doing a physical on him first.
