How's the new stadium?

In a word, gorgeous!

they actually took out the first 5 rows in the outfield for this upcoming season to make it more of an even field for pitchers. The ball flies out of this ballpark. It wasn't short by any means. I think it was about 325 down the lines. I think it will be 330 give or take a foot or two for this coming season.

Thats cool. I think they should do something like that at Great American Ballpark too but there is really no way to make the fence any deeper so I guess it is going to be a hitters park for good lol. I think it is second to Coors Field in home runs.

I wouldn't mind going out to Citizens Bank Park sometime soon, it looks pretty sweet.

That sounds cool. I'm not sure how soon I could get a chance to go east but it would be a nice trip though. You could catch games in Philly, NYC, and possibly even DC/Baltimore and maybe Boston. It would be a heck of a trip if I could come up with the money lol

Rockies are my 2nd fav team since they are the home team....but just because Denver got a MLB team doesn't mean I had to give up my then #1 team right.

So I always root for both Mets and Rockies, but when it comes to head to head and also who's appearal I buy Mets ALWAYS win.

Mets are my home team and number 2. I have seen them 50 plus times but Oakland which I was tricked into likeing as a kid by the steroid abusing Bash Brothers is my favorite.

Shameless homer here (even though I live in Utah). Rockies all the way. I grew up a Yankees fan, but that was just because I couldn't follow triple-A in Denver with the Bears and Zephyrs. When the Rockies came to town, I became a faithful Rockies sufferer.

from wikipedia

In Major League Baseball the longest game played was a 26-inning affair between the Brooklyn Robins and Boston Braves on May 1, 1920. The game ended in a 1-1 tie called on account of darkness.

Havnt seriously watched baseball since the strike in 94. It pissed me off and I tried to start back in then all the homers started up and something was obviously wrong. Ill watch alittle here and there but nothing like I used to be.
But on a side note my favorite team is the cubs i gues because I used to like them as of now I still dont realy like any of them.
