Keven Lerner, of the Sun-Sentinel, reports New York Jets CB Ty Law expects to be released shortly and that a reunion with former Jets head coach Herman Edwards, who is now coaching the Kansas City Chiefs, is a possibility. Law added that he didn't know if the team could afford him and Chiefs CB Patrick Surtain. "Is the (Super Bowl) window still open for the Chiefs?" Law said. "Can the offense still get it done? And can they afford me and Pat?"
At the same time Keven Lerner, of the Sun-Sentinel, reports New York Jets CB Ty Law expects to be released shortly and that he wants to play for a Super Bowl contender. Law said in an interview with the Kansas City Star that the Miami Dolphins could be a possibility. Law added he is seeking "around 10 million" in guaranteed bonus money.

He was seeking "10 million+" in garanteed money last year also...How'd that work out for him? Last I checked he also got a year older, not younger since then.

Not likely to get 10 mill is right. But he definitely earned it with the season he had.
Maybe the Chiefs will drop the money for him, that would be a killer secondary, thats for sure. So i hope they dont.

He's asking too much money, that the cheifs can't give, and we wants to be on a super bowl caliber team witch the Cheifs are not.

Yeah...a year older, another Pro Bowl year...10 picks last year...he sucks...he doesnt deserve 10 million...
If I were a Chef fan...and thank the good lord that I'm not, I'd be doing backflips thinking about the possibility of having Surtain and Law as the 2 starting CBs rather than bitch and attempt to talk sh!t on the $$$ end of it...
