I would love nothing more than to see this guy in a Broncos Uniform. Don't know how he will do at the combine, but he has crazy mad intagibles. For some reason, though reported as slow, he was always open. This whole season at OSU, he was the only real option they had. On a bad team, he received well over 1,000 yards for the thrid time in college. He always seemed to come down with the ball in jump ball situations.
Some board have him as the 14th WR in the draft. That said, I bet he is available in 2nd or 3rd round and would be a great option in a couple of years as the thrid WR.

No doubt he had great stats, but lets wait till the real evaluations are done at the combine. If he measures at 5'10" and runs a 4.8 he probably won't even be drafted. Many college players have great stats that do not translate to the NFL. Look no further than the QBs for Nebraska and Oklahoma over the last 25 years.

But, could he be the next Steve Largent...
He does seem to be at the right place at the right time and run very crisp paterns...
I have only seen him a couple of times, but been very impressed.

Possibly, but in general, to be an NFL receiver you can be small ( Smith, Randle El) or slow (Eddy Mac) but not both. If he comes to combine and surprises everyone by being 6' and running in the 4.5's he can be a mid round choice. Would be great for him if that happened, just need to wait and see.

That is his advertised size, Let's see what reality is when he gets to the combine. Suspect it is closer to 5'10" and 180. Tommy Fraiser averaged insane rushing numbers and was never drafted.

If he ran a 4.8 he won't be drafted. We will see what he does if he goes to the combine.
College players always say they are surprised at the speed of the pro game. He might make a decent possesion reciever late and we could work on his speed some, but you can't really teach speed. Ya got it or ya don't. It's easier to lose it..(MoC...injury...age) than to gain it...

Averages 17.0 ypc and up his 3 seasons starting in school. Thinking he is fast enough.

had some nice grabs in that reel. Showed some speed on a TD run. Maybe he has game speed and not combine speed?

McCaffrey was not "fast" He was fast enough tho. So was largent, and Rice, and Rod Smith...Hass produced in college, if he is there from rounds 3-6, take him. Might be a nice surprise.

We did this after the Civil War this year - we kept saying Hass is gonna be the next "Steve Largent" "Ed McCaffery" and about every other white receiver we could think of. Tightcasting in action

Couldn't agree more about getting this guy, got to see alot of him even though I'm all for the other team in Oregon. Don't know how he put up those numbers this year with the terrible QB's he had to put up with at Oregon St.
