Those are vet minimum salaries too. No idea whether any bonuses were involved but this is another piece of good work by the Ted and Mike.

That is good news. Brandon gets some security and Denver gets to keep some depth.

If he improves as much this year as he did last year. He stands to be a starter at some point. I noticed so much of an improvement this season, he seems very comfortable back there now.

I agree...I was ready to kick him to the curb, but while Walls regressed, Brandon improved notably. That's dirt cheap and we need cap help. He can always be kicked to the curb, but he played much better this year.

You were ready to kick him to the curb while you were ripping into me for thinking that he will be a solid player for us.
Remember when FADERPROOF told you that Sam Brandon was a good 4th round pick?

Look, he had one foot out the door and woke up. We need cheap backups. Good signing....I'm not complaining, but he had a bad 03/04 campaign.
I like how we are taking care of business in an almost Terminator efficiency....next target?
"I'll Be Back" We haven't actually terminated yet, but may have to with Pryce. Nails saved himself.

I'm not worried about the cap. We always get the players we want. There is always Rod, who is always happy to store some guaranteed acorns in his little hiding place for future need.
We can melt the team down someday, but that day isn't tommorow.
Our secondary is vastly underrated...DW was hurt and Foxy just kept getting better...Cox played well...Bailey is finally healthy. We have some prospects at secondary too.
The team is right on the edge. So close.

I dunno about having one foot out the door here. He played good in a limited role his rookie year, was starting early in his 2nd season, regressed his 3rd year and back to serious playing time in his 4th year.
As a coach, I'd be very leary of cutting someone with his level of talent just because he slipped in his 3rd year.

You just have to credit Champ for his infiltrating talent on the team, oh, and also give as much credit to Brandon's collegiate training - GO REBELS!

I remember he busted as a starter and people were ripping him.... Well, he was a 4th round pick maybe he isn't starter material that doesn't mean he can't be a solid player.
This doesn't bode well for Young they have been battling each other for spots.
