Denver two choices -
22. Tamba Hali, DE, Penn State
29. Gabe Watson, DT, Michigan
Ok with the first but the second is a joke.

Watson, if properly motivated, is a top 10 pick in many people's minds. That'd be an awesome draft, as it would let Denver move Gerard over to the UT position, I think. If he stayed of course...

How many times did anyone watch Michigan? Ever notice Watson?
Me neither, other than helping a teammate up who was actually in the play.
Obviously, I'm not a fan.

"I call him Gabe "the Stay Puff Marshmallow Man" Watson. This kid could have been one of the top DT’s in this draft, but he isn’t because of his weight. Now we all know what will happen if his team gets into a bowl game. Gabe will most likely play a great game and the scouts and pro coaches will all start to drool. The biggest problem right now is that he doesn’t play every down; he lacks stamina and he is not very strong. There is no doubt that this kid has tremendous potential to be one of the best DT’s at the next level, but his lack of work ethic and training discipline is what’s stopping him now. Right now, I see college centers moving him around one on one all game long. He has excellent athletic talent, but no heart."

Even if he werent lazy and overweight, he wouldnt fit our system. He is purely a 3-4 NT. He's a two gapper, not a one gapper. He doesnt get pass rush, he's a shut everything down inside tackle. ESPN being idiots as usual.

I'm Ok with Hali but as a couple of others have mentioned Watson is a joke. Just a fat a33 lazy bum. KC can have him he can back up their fat a33 DTs, Jelly and Savaii.

watson could be good though, Im far from a big fan of his. I wouldn't cry if we drafted him though. Odds are most Hawks fans didn't like the pick of Tubbs either, and he had a bad rape out of college as well.

Watson is Vince Wilfork v2, he's not easily motivated but combined with the sloppy coaching of former DC Hermann & the insane S & C coach's plan of Pizza it's a little hard for big Gabe to realize his potential
he's gonna be a very good pro & if the Broncos can get Warren to work they could certainly do it with Watson
