Steve Doerschuk, writing for the Sporting News, reports the Cleveland Browns could trade RB Lee Suggs or William Green this offseason if the price were right.

So let's say the Owens deal happens. The Broncos could look at these guys. Both are young and could be cheaper than say RW34.

Green may have more pop in his step, but he also has more baggage, compared to Suggs.

Just a thought.

lets see... We got 3 starting D lineman for RD and a 4th. Judging by that they should have to pay us to take either

Since when do the Broncos trade with the Browns? ???

I don't know why I like Suggs so much, but I do... If he can stay healthy, he'd be a great RB for any team.

I like Suggs. Green's too much of a head case...

Don't know that much about either, but in the little action I've seen, Lee Suggs versatility has been pretty appealing. He seems to make things happen when he has the ball.

No thanks on William Green. I wouldn't give a 7th for him.

In the little Browns action ive seen Suggs has shown me he is pretty decent. Under the right OL he could flourish. He wont be coming here, but he might be worth a gander considering his price tag.

Not interested in either. I would like to see the same group back next year. I am not into who starts or whatever, just that it seemed to work pretty well. But, I would also like to see a good WR in FA. Don't need no stinking RB.

I would take a chance on Suggs.

I agree. We have enough backups in guys like Bell, Dayne, Anderson.

What we need is a guy that combines the vision, patience of Anderson with the breakneck speed of Bell. If we're gonna trade for someone, why not do it right, and for someone who could be a stud in this offense rather than just another backup.

If we're willing to send a pick for a RB then I'd rather do it in the draft for someone like White if he slips.

Green is a bust and Suggs is injury prone. Pass.

I don't know why people keep talking rb in here. We are fine at RB

Suggs is a great guy.

Suggs is a great guy.

I agree but he's injury prone. I don't get the obsession with RB's here. Sapp would get 1000 or Dayne...

Why do we need running backs?

It is amazing how some people obsess with obtaining a RB. This team was the best at running the ball in all of the NFL (when you exclude RBs, and second when you include them), and their performance had nothing to do with the loss to Pitt. The areas of need were clearly pass rush, with some safety and OL help. And the worst part is some of you are willing to use a 1st round choice to address an area of strength, when there are other areas that could be much better helped (also, it is a stupid place to take a cap hit considering the team's performance there).

I don't understand either. Bell still has upside and low miles. Dayne still has low miles. Cobb has been injury prone but were Cleveland dimwits telling us he was going to get injured again?

I'll take Ricky over those two guys. Ricky isn't going to cost all that much, and he has way more talent.

Suggs has a ton of ability but I believe he is made of porcelain. I've snatched him up every year he has been in the league on my fantasy squads and the only thing he ever accomplishes is making the injury report. Very impressive during the few snaps he takes but the problem is it is very few...

If you guys went into a season looking for Suggs and Bell to carry the load I have a good hunch a guy like Cecil Sapp will be the next R.D story of fullback turned RB.
